The Curse of the Ghost in Chicago (Why the basketball gods are punishing the Bulls franchise)

The last NBA Finals appearance and championship of the Chicago Bulls happened 25 years ago during the Michael Jordan era.
The Bulls have been in basketball purgatory since Jordan retired in 1998. Too bad to be a championship contender but good enough to not be a lottery team.
A combination of bad player evaluations and front office mistakes past and present contribute to the current state of the franchise.

I will put 85% of the blame on Jerry Krause, but the other 15% goes to Reinsdork for allowing Krause to do what he did.

I would have like to see Michael Jordan play for another team the following season after the Chicago Bulls won their last championship. I could only imagine how much damage Michael Jordan and Shaq would have done if those two played together for the Los Angeles Lakers!!!

I've always wanted to see MJ playling for Houston Rockets. Actually if he was with Utah along with Malone/ Stockton it would have been an amazing team.

Imagine how MJ feels, i bet this pisses him off every day, as competitive he is, that he never got the chance to defend his title after 98 being the champion, natural course of sports competition is you compete until someone worthy defeats you in fair contest and earns the title from you. I belive they could have won at least 2 more and eventually they would be taken down by Kob and Shaq in their prime
