I bought a bespoke suit for myself and when I got it home, I could hear a harsh, yelling noise at night. I was covered in sweat and I got startled.. It was my wife shouting at me for spending all the money 😢 Happy Halloween!!

My partner and I were once browsing in one of the many antique and vintage shops in Hastings and as she approached the vintage clothing rail she was suddenly gripped with an overpowering sense of something unpleasant and malevolent, and had to go outside...as soon as she had moved away from the clothes the feeling faded away but she refused to go back into that particular shop, though was happy to continue browsing in others. Make of it what you will, but it was an interesting incident.

I believe that some clothing has the ability to retain an essence of the owner. The supernatural cannot be fully explained

Unexpected, this discussion about spiritual energy which is preserved and contained within a garment, on this channel. Yet, I am convinced that it is true. I have thrown away pieces of my clothing over the years, also other things, instead of selling them. Because I did not want to pass on the experiences and energies contained in them to another person. Really true. 😎

Great story, Ash. The only implausible part about this whole chilling tale was that such a beautiful coat was purchased for just £25. That cannot be true! My beautiful S/H dinner suit is over 70 years old. The first time I put it on I became boiling hot; the second time I shivered with cold. When I confided my suspicions to my better half that it might be haunted, she kept her nerve and calmly told me that the first time it was summer and the second it was winter. 😊

I bought a vintage wool overcoat from a thrift shop (Burton's, of Leeds - the label dated it from 1950 - 1960 from a website I visited). The overcoat is wool and silk - boy, I love it. I did have a strange feeling as I put the overcoat on, an unearthly warmth....well it is wool and silk (very insulating). I noticed, as I put my hand in the right hand pocket, deep down, in the depths, I pulled out a piece of worn paper with a hand written message in faint fountain ink. It read: 'George, please remember to telephone auntie Enid.'. Who was this auntie Enid? Why did George need to contact her? Did he ever do so? The questions are too numerous to mention..... To this day, I wear the coat I feel (and smell) something of an eerie feeling, a feeling I'm inhabiting another world, another time, another place...... It's my new favorite overcoat.

Great story and well told, sir! Not too long ago, I eBay purchased a lovely vintage tuxedo waistcoat made in a black grosgrain by a prominent Savile Row house. When it arrived, I noticed a sewn in label with the name of the man for whom it was originally made. After some internet searching, I found that this man was a prominent figure in television media in the 80s and 90s and had died about five years ago. His obituary mentioned that he was known for being very well dressed. Thankfully, the waistcoat doesn’t appear to have brought any weird mojo along with it and I will wear it with confidence. Hopefully the previous owner would be happy to see it in use.
