Okay, listen for this alternative then of what could have been Inazuma's Arc... Ayaka isn't real, but she died a long time ago fighting the original Vision Hunt Decree (Similar to Kazuha's friend), but then Ayato found out about a certain incident in Tatarasuna, with a puppet that was wandering around without a master, he finds out what it was, and he looks for any traces of what happened to it; instead, he finds out a secret lab where Dottore makes parts of his clones, and he does find a way to "clone" his sister). Years later, Kokomi decides to search for a way to take back Yashiori (Or wherever Orobashi's corpse was), because let's be real, she could have been badass if she had a more centered goal. So, she investigates, and finds out the possibility of puppets/clones being in control of Inazuma, then she makes some research, and finds out that the Shogun Raiden was in TWO places at the same time when Kaenri'ah shit happened; but with the previous research, she manages a theory; what if there were TWO Goddesses of Thunder and not one? And what if the actual Shogun, is just a puppet or some kind of clone made by the Archon who was in Inazuma at the Kaenri'ah Cataclysm time? If so, she would need some way to test it, that's where she meets with Ayato, they talk, and he reveals to her that Ayaka is a clone herself, so the chance that the actual Shogun is a puppet is highly realistic; so they find a way to let the Fatui enter Inazuma, they convince people here and there, to manipulate the Shogun and test their theory of it being an artificial being with some kind of programation that can be used for one purpose or other; that way, they also find the chance to take down the corruption of Inazuma, finding who are those who won't waste a chance to take everything for them; that way, when they find who are deliberately up to manipulate the Shogun, they can make their way to the throne of Inazuma; how? Easy, forcing the Traveler into their plan, after hearing about a "blonde individual who already fought a Fatui" from some hired soldiers, Ayato and Kokomi decide to take the opportunity and force the Traveler to fight the Shogun in front of everyone, by forcing Thoma into the Vision Hunt Decree, then everything from there is a constant circle of manipulations that could end up in Kokomi losing Yashiori island because of trying to take it by force, and her and Ayato getting condemned because of war crimes and conspiracy against Inazuma; although Yae would still take a lot of participation, at least it would feel like every single character is relevant in the story; even Thoma, even if only to be the meat for the Traveler, he would be relevant that way....

It's because of the story the song itself tells without the Honkai context; it tells a story about love, about regrets, about suddenly realizing all of your mistakes, and regreting every one of them, yet also trying to fix, at least, a bit of all the damage you didn't meant to do... Just like how Furina suddenly realized that her facade was still a facade after all, she passed 500 years living to pretend being a goddess, but without any minimal power to do something; she suddenly realized her lost 500 years of life that "were in vain", because everyone just discovered and exposed her; she felt like she failed, at the same time, she realized that her efforts broke her inside, made her weaker than even a common human, but as it ended, it began for her too....

Yk, I always thought of Furina as kinda like Elysia so she would be “TruE” but this fits. Just accompanied by flashbacks to Otto. Good job on this tho!

I feel like Venti would fit Elysia better in terms of personality since Furina seems more human than Elysia or even in comparison to other archons. Elysia never broke down during their era while Furina has stated that she reached her limits multiple times. Ellie also represents a more divine character, especially with her positive type of characteristics who in contrast to Furina is deemed the ideal human in the story. I feel like the tone of Regression fits more the story for Furina and Neuvilette especially with the theme of the story focusing on the original sin and the characters' breaking points. In some ways, Furina has some qualities of Otto, except for being genocidal, in terms of being broken, perseverance and putting up an act. Though I can see it through Focalors as wel with her belief on humanity.

I see, I can see the parallel but I feel like thats why TruE fits Elysia better since despite her dark path, she had friends or the so called disciples by the fandom to support her even in her death. While Furina had a darker path to it that lead or even forced her to be alone, which lead to her breaking multiple times in the story, but not enough to break her resolve. That is why TruE is not just about Elysia but about the Thirteen Flamechasers. While it has the connotations of giving path to the future, it is done by not only Elysia but also the entire team while Furina had to basically endure all questions and criticisms alone, which seems to fit a darker tone.
