I think the devs decision to add the passwords was a great idea, I love how you can (if you how to) make your own way to play the game, even if it is as basic as starting the game with X ability, or starting in X place. Also, thanks for using the Paper Mario 64 OST as background music, I adore that game.

Metroid as a game would work really well with an option to start a new save with X ability that's unlocked upon completion, it'd be sick. And yeah, it was like halfway through editing I started using Paper Mario music because it's been on mind a lot lately with the upcoming TTYD remake. 64's OST is an absolute banger!

Oh, dude, Tanaka's compositions always go nuts. He did Kid Icarus, too, which has a pretty good soundtrack, but most famously went on to compose the soundtracks for both Mother 1 & 2 alongside Keiichi Suzuki!

@josephbrandenburg4373 Not as far as I know, you might be thinking of Kazumi Totaka? I know he did X, Super Mario Land 2, Wii Sports, Luigi's Mansion, Wave Race 64, and some others, but I don't think he did Link's Awakening?

I find it rather ironic that the left facing Samus sprite is unused considering that every other sprite based Metroid game has dedicated left facing sprites. It's kinda a staple of the series as a whole, so it's pretty interesting to see that such a trend technically started here when such things were rather uncommon (heck, it's STILL uncommon today!) Since the sprites are still there though, I reckon it wouldn't be to hard for someone to ROM Hack them into use.
