Forget the unsophisticated arguments of Diageo, the concept of terroir as you've done is superb and I hope you will keep doing it. It's remarkable that you've taken a Burgundy wine-like approach to your initial bottlings. Letting the small parcels - or farms in your case - speak for themselves. Now, in a natural progression, it's on to Bordeaux and more blending to see the sum of its parts and it is exciting. I, and many of us watching I am sure, can't wait to see the next progression of your whiskies: scaling back the very active oak and letting the spirit take its ultimate form in 10, then 15, then 21 or so years in refill bourbon/sherry to really show us different terroirs and flavours. Thanks a lot Waterford for always letting us in on your vision, your operations, and other interesting facts other distilleries refuse to share. Your transparency is always welcome with us whisky fans!

This stuff is gonna be wild once it gets some age, I reckon.

Firstly it was very strange to me on the nose and the taste also. But now that I took some time with it I can say: Hats of people at Waterford. Lovely concept and a lovely whisky. Looking forward trying this at an older age also.
