„My New Year doesn’t start until March” : Oh yes Kalyn thank you for saying that! I need to steal that for myself. I haven’t been in a mood to reflect upon the last year and to set out the new goals yet. Just a tiny bit. I have to rest now, recuperate and then I can launch into the New Year properly, so glad somebody shares my sentiment

This video was what I needed today. I just started my first cycle this morning after having my IUD removed and not had a period in over 8 years. 😩. I forgot what it was like but i needed to learn today to embrace and understand again.

Usually I’m a silent viewer that’s been around for a long, long time (I think I started watching your videos around the time my daughter was born and that was a decade ago) but I was wondering if we could get another coffee talk soon? Not to sound too needy, of course. The world feels so chaotic and negative right now. Your talks and vlogs have been a comfort and something to look forward to, like spending time with the best friend that’s long distance but anytime they talk, you feel centered and okay. Thanks for always being there and being honest with us through your life journey. You are amazing, Kalyn!

I love this! As women we need this knowledge to help our body and give it best care we can ❤

I hate admitting this but I am 35 years old and just now researched what is actually happening in my body with hormones, etc through different parts of my cycle. Women need to discuss this more 🙏🏼❤ also LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of a grimoire book! Keep us updated on it!!

Nothing to be ashamed of. We should be taught about this from a young age as a part of our education but unfortunately that’s not how things are done

Really enjoyed this chat. Women need more chats like this ❤️ please keep us updated with your memoir, I think that is a super interesting way to get to know yourself.

I love how you bring the hype trains down to earth in a way that’s genuinely constructive. I’m totally with you that this period of rest is the perfect “start” to the new year - like a child in the womb, fiercely protected while it rests and builds up the energy to take action come birthing/spring. One thing that I’ve noticed during the second half of winter, and during my menstrual phase, is it’s during this time that I most easily provide for myself without guilt. This took practice with menstruation, but I’m finding this archetype to be perfectly symbolic of the relationship I’ve had with myself since around the second week of January. I feel that, while I haven’t been actively pursuing anything, my mind has been making very harsh but necessary ‘refinements’ in the way I plan my year. It’s beautiful to be able to take an entire season to contemplate how you can best bring things into alignment. I know I felt similar last year but it was more so through January than the whole season.. though I could see how trying to do too much too soon could sabotage this important nesting period so I’ve been taking it really easy this year and basking in that. I don’t have any specific practices, other than taking a bath during my cycle, but I find winter/menstruation to be one of the few times I can hear my voice without the noise of whatever energetics are playing around me and it’s particularly easy to listen to whatever I’m feeling at a given moment: Happy hibernating to you and your lovely community 🥰

I’m sorry if I missed something, but can anyone tell me if the coffee talks aren’t going to be in podcast format too?

I always wanted to make a Grimoire too!! It’s so cool! This might be the push I needed to try it. I really love this notebook - would you mind sharing where you got it/name on the tag so I can buy it too?

After being on birth control for eight years I am thinking of beginning to cycle track. However I am super nervous that I will mess it up and face the consequences hahaha. If anyone has recently made the change I would be happy to hear your experience!
@CherryBerryFashion6 күн бұрын
Hey so I just want to tell you that cycle tracking is not enough as a means of protection from pregnancy. You also need to use condoms and perhaps some other methods like natural contraception which if I remember correctly is something derived from a carrot like carrot seeds? I’m sorry I have to look it up again as I want to try it out for myself. I’m not active in that way rn and that’s why I don’t remember

You can layer tools like a basal temperature thermometer that connects to a cycle-syncing app for more accurate ovulation and period tracking. Combine that with other birth control options (like condoms) to help avoid any potential little Madisondressman9910's 😆♥️
