Imagine access to: venues holding very large fish, unlimited quality bait, every conceivable piece of tackle & they still blank. Compare that with us trying to complete with a fraction of their resources & time or access to big fish venues. Still they tell us to buy the latest & greatest kit. The biggest thing you have is your eyes mate. You’ll catch on any decent bait if you’re on them. Maybe instead of moaning about not having access you should work on making contacts to get to waters like these. The tackle used is no more than standard carp tackle that anyone can buy on a reasonable budget. You’re just looking for a moan and it’s dead sad that you can’t just be happy for someone else catching and you have to have a moan about the state the carp scene has become. It’s the negative people like yourself that are making the carp scene the state it has become. Like the people that come to the lake I fish, park by the lake, slam every door on their car/van, flick two rods on the same spot that every other fucker fishes that’s loaded with 200+ shelf life boilies every few days that have probably been sat rotting there for months then wonder why they don’t catch. Look inward. Try having a more positive out look and focus on your own fishing.

Imagine they all started like us. There determination, hard work & one track minded approach is what gets them recognised then they get all the spoils. They didn’t wake up and become sponsored anglers they all sacrificed a lot of there own time and money first mate

Club waters have good heads of 20/30/40s in and day tickets are everywhere with massive stocks in the everything they do you can if you put the time and effort in stop being a mard arse 😂

When using the adjustable Instead of gripping the line with your fingers spoon I put a small piece of floss on much easier then take it off when the rig comes in 👍
