I wanted to take this train in the future. I love sleeper trains. It is weird that they cross the border so early in the morning. I wonder if adjusting the schedule a bit would make it more comfortable for the passengers

Romania just joined Schengen now and has no borders anymore.I started planning my trip now and includes this train,I hope will be fine.

@that is true. I’m glad of that will make traveling much easier. I hated to drive to Romania since the line at the border always took so long, not all travel options should be faster.

Can I ask how/where you booked…..I’m looking to do this trip in December and no matter what options I put in the search doesn’t work on the Romanian train website. Looks fatastic

@@zoesmith7493 I booked it through CFR but had to put in the whole Vienna to Bucharest and could only do it a few weeks in advance. It was a bit fiddly

I'm planning for June this year and tickets are not available, I just emailed CFR (the Romanian train website) and I asked them when are the tickets going to be available.

When you take next time com from.budapets kelety the trayn until Arad city after at 20:20 you have astra trans carpatic you can't make the reservation online private cabine with shower until Bucarest and in the summer until constanta but you need to make beefore in time the reservation
