My dads still got his from when he got it for Christmas in the 70’s . He said he used to get pinched all the time cocking it .

I've been trying to contact Tony McDaniel for a while now. North Carolina, I hope he's ok. He's a certified daisy repair

Neither had I! Then it randomly popped up on the auction site, and I spent a week anxiously waiting for payday to hit... So glad I did, it's a lovely model, despite the awkward grip.

@@MyAirgunPhase Have you tried airsoft shotguns? They're a lot of fun! They make all sorts powered by gas, spring or electric shooting a spread of 6 or more bb's at a time, they usually have 3 inner barrels 'Tri-Shot' but also have classic side by side barrels like yours but again shoot a bunch of bb's at a time. They even have electric ones that can be full auto with three barrels all firing together, serious tin can destroyers!! I've got a few of each type.

@@shovelchop81bikeralex52 I haven't yet, no! I haven't been able to decide which one to go for, honestly. I like the idea of a spring-powered single shot one, simply for the pump action... Buuut I'm really actually holding out until I find somewhere I can buy the S&T M1887 "Terminator" one, that rear shell ejecting goodness, oh my! I wasn't aware of electric shotguns though, iiiinteresting...

@@MyAirgunPhase Definitely get a gas powered pump action shotgun over a spring powered one! Spring powered ones tend to be cheap and nasty plastic and very tiring to keep cocking, whereas the gas ones are much higher quality, full metal with super smooth pump action that's not having to cock a whole piston system but just the stryker/hammer for the gas valve. Shell ejecting will be fun at first then get really irritating even just shooting at home on indoor targets, they also don't recommend you do the Terminator one handed cocking action as the mechanism is made of 'pot metal' not steel and also incorporates the entire gas magazine so it's all hollow ergo much thinner metal than the real steel version. My advice would be to get either an APS Gladius Velites or Golden Eagle gas pump action shotgun. Some will be snobby about the brands but I own both and they work great, although don't go for a short barrel as they're loud!! Regular length barrels are fine noise wise for your apartment and you can build suppressors for them if you need too, my fully automatic electric one and very short gas pump action one both needed it.

Scwewy wabbits! Although, if a child had hands large enough to pull the triggers comfortably, they could probably just crush their prey instead...
