Lovely dance, very nicely performed. Such soft, fluid port de bras, but not falling into being too mannered. I'd be interested to see how these young dancers progress. Looks like they have good training and have worked hard--Bravi!

Thank you for your comments! None of these girls had studied classical ballet for more than 2.5 years - the littlest one in yellow had only danced 9 months when she performed this. Now, 2 years later, she is a TWO-TIME YAGP Hope Award Winner. The girl in peach is just won 2nd Place Junior Contemporary at YAGP Dallas 2013 and is the NYCDA Top Junior Soloist for 2012. The piece itself has also won many awards! including two-time Ensemble winner at YAGP and Best in Show at NYCDA. We love it!
