I think one of two things are happening (maybe both): 1) Players are starting to reject the "Patriot Way" of doing things as the Raiders look VERY different yesterday. Dallas defended it terribly too. Their whole defense jumps over top the line then the O line just carries them 3 yards. Need a couple guys over the top but the big guys need to GET LOW and push back. This proves to me that no real research is being done when giving these takes. Dak looked better last year against the Eagles. He scored 40 points. Hurts didn't play in that game but the Eagles defense was better last year. This game didn't tell me anything different about Dak. This was a division game that Dak has been in numerous years times in his 8 years. He is comfortable playing them. He has to do it twice a year. He came up short against a qb that was hobbled and a defense that is sus right now. But Dak is super bowl caliber. Ok

Im giving up on this team. Year after year they are built for a run. But year after year they squander all that talent. Bottom line: Dak failed when it mattered most. Last Drive: 3 penalties on the Eagles for 56 YARDS, gives the Cowboys a 1st and goal at the Eagles 6 yard line. And they fail to score. All we hear about is EXCUSES. The Holding - the refs - not fair! not fair! We HAD the ball at the 6 yard line with plenty of time to score and WIN. We FAILED. Here's an example of a WINNER: 1981 season, NFC Championship game. Joe Montana has been sacked 3 times on the day. The 49ers are penalized 7 times for 106 yards vs Dallas' 5 for 39. They're losing 27-21, but on the Cowboys 6 yard line with time running out. Did I mention the bad day that Montana was having? He'd been picked off 3 TIMES by the Cowboys defense and the offense had lost 3 other fumbles! 6 TURNOVERS on the day. Major penalties that favored the Cowboys. Sacked 3 times and harassed by the Cowboys front four all day. But at the end... he stood with his team at the 6 yard line. AGAIN, with Cowboys defensive line pressure in his face... he broke the hearts of Cowboy fans everywhere. That's what WINNERS do. LOSERS just keep making EXCUSES. I don't care how good Dak's STATS are. I just want him to make the PLAY that wins the game. Anything else is just a waste.
