This team NEEDS a good ground attack AND to be able to stop the opponent on the ground. The latter of which I trust Zimmer to deal with better than did his predecessor here in Dallas. People love to bag on Dak. (Some of it is racism, I'm sure.) But the guy has proven himself over the last three seasons that he can play. He even adapted to a totally new offense last year and still helped the team to 12 wins. All of this without a great running attack. The ground game is so important. It allows the offense to grind down the defense. It eats up the clock at the end of the game. What do you do if you get a couple of receivers hurt? You run the damn ball! When you have a good O-Line, it allows your team to impose their will on the other team which is demoralizing for opponents. That's what both Green Bay and the 49ers did to us last year. When you hear the media talk about other teams being more physical than the Cowboys, THAT is what they're talking about. If this O-Line has truly improved and we have the RBs in the stable to get the job done, this team may be even more formidable that it's been the last three seasons. If the defense can stop the opponents on the ground . . . LOOK OUT! This team has a chance for a deep playoff run.

Kendricks helps in running game and I believe Justin Rodgers from Auburn will have instant impact also watching LiuFau at my favorite college Notre Dame his high motor will help as well also Zimmer is not laid back like Quinn he expects his players to give everything they have on every play

Disagree. I understand he was injured in that playoff game but he was a liability. Diggs returning, Bland has more confidence, Jordan Lewis really came back to form in the last half of the season. I believe people are forgetting Eric Scott who looked good in camps and the rookie Carlson has been turning heads. I'd argue the cowboys have one of the best secondary groups in the league. I'd rather you grab another possible CB4 or Slot option for ensured depth.

This is dumb on so many levels. So Dan Quinn is dated, lol. So he was good enough t get tot he play offs but in one game his scheme is dated, ok. 😂 😂 😂. Outside of Parsons you have zero pass rush that has proven anything in the NFL. You entire argument is based on best case scenarios for every damn player! Good luck with that. Micah would be best used in a 3-4 defensive scheme. Bland got torched on the back end after his initial phenomenal play early. Teams targeted him. And without Quinn’s scheming pass rush opportunities he will be exposed, again.

completely agree, plus 11, 88, and 4 all want a new contract and will be paid. this is my thinking of what they get now. Dak 45million per year. Ceedee 28 million per year at least. Parsons 30 million per year

Disagree heavily. You.dont need a star DT. I'm confused where this has came from. You got exposed in the run game under Quinn because he played undersized players. A beefed up LB room and now you're telling your NTs to play proper positioning. With better schemes for that. I'm not expecting much. But I fully disagree with the reasoning you are laying out

Like your take on things man great content just subscribed! Like the point about Dan Quinn. Great that he got things going for us but I think the ascension of the Defense had more to do with Micah Parsons than it does Quinn, like you pointed out he beat up on bad teams and didn’t do anything against top teams. Cowboys seem to nail every second draft and not just get a couple starts but often 3-4 with a couple role players

And the Eagles work with Jeff Stoutland all off season AND during the regular season. The cowboy players a different voice in their head during the season. It’s much better to have one way of doing things consistently. What happens when a particular coach wants to use a technique Duke doesn’t teach? How conflicted is the player? I’m betting money that come the start of the season you’ll have a LT not name Guyton. The dude is simply not ready. Not strength wise nor technique wise. He will be exposed if they run him out there. As far as Bebe is concerned I guess you could have Martin making the line calls but the leap from K-State to Jalen Carter is pretty steep. And it’s not as if training camp will get him ready because you have crap at DT.

Great quarterbacks make great plays, and big plays in big games. Dak hasn't done it. They didn't resign Tyron Smith, big loss. Now we have a rookie left tackle, and not much to back the position up, and a New center. Pollard is a all pro running back, who's gone. The biggest question mark is the offensive line. Thy defense should be alright, but they still didn't address the inside run stopper. We're going to have to wait and see.

Once Gallup got close to his 2nd year of post surgery, he showed up at the end of the season, Tolbert not so much. I'm not a fan of Tolbert, and think some of the other receivers will out shine him this year.
