I’m 53 years old and grew up in the DFW area. Have been a fan since 1978 when I was 7 years old meaning I no bandwagon fan or a front runner. Even when we were losing in the late 80’s I was still there. I’m a die hard fan but I am pretty much done with the Dallas Joneses. I just find it more and more difficult each year to root for them because of that clown Jerry Jones and what he’s done to this franchise,

I watched Landman series episode 9 on Paramount and was SHOCKED to see Jerry Jones playing a part. It sounded like Jerry explaining himself that buying the Cowboys was all about being with his family in a business. If it was true, it sure made me think again my bad thoughts about him. But it was an acting job and might not have been true. But in the part he explains that was the reason he bought the Cowboys to work with his kids.

The analogy to running a fantasy team may sound good, even if true, but this is reality and Jerry hasn't been living in that for a long time. Not how you run a real professional team. If not for Jerry hiring a real leader and talent evaluator in Jimmy Johnson, Dallas might never have gotten one SB win! I prefer to use the Green Bay Packers example. I'll get co-workers and buddy's ask, "why are the packers always so consistently solid and always winning?" That's always an easy answer. They don't have a Jerry Jones around or any other overbearing owner because they don't have one. And look how well things run.. amazing, huh?
