We really should be talking about how there's like two handfuls worth of players who have made their NHL debate this season who at some point played for the Kamloops Blazers and we should also be talked about how they are really producing some really good players right now and don't forget they did create player mark recchi playd for Kamloops Blazers for two seasons before making his debate as a penguin he had just over 1600 games and had just over 1500 points at the end of his NHL career he was also drafted in the fourth round by the Penguins and in my opinion the biggest steel of all time out of the ones that no one seems to talk about nowadays and possibly the best of all drafts steals and the reason I say that or one of them is because if you redo the draft even Mike Modano who was the first overall pick was behind him if you look at the draft and you look at how the players turned out by the end of their career mark recchi could have gone as the first overall pick in the draft if they knew he was going to be that good but just because of how much they liked Mike Mark probably would have end it up second overall in the draft me personally if I was a general manager with a first-round pick back then I would have immediately gone for Mark

Slow that roll ….. Stanky has been great but the sample size is way too small . Love the way the kid plays and he has a bright future , but we will check back after 20 games played .

I know he was really good in jr's, but he has 3 points in 3 games. Alexi Protas had 4 points in 2 games (rookie season) and then didn't score for 23 games. Can't say "steal" quite yet.

He has outproduced him at every level of play so far and is debuting a year earlier than Protas did. It is clear he is a much higher tier prospect than he ever was

People like you really need to stop looking at numbers and actually watch full games to see for yourself. You only had to watch Stankoven's first 2 games to know he's a stud, and that he wasn't scoring by luck but actually dominating the ice whenever he was on it. Way too many stat jockey's in hockey not paying attention and using numbers to compare to other players. Use your eyes and watch.
