Totally relate to the marginalisation and bullying of redheads. It's only in recent years that my colouring has come into fashion, and the hypocrisy is staggering. Always found the whole thing weird, not to mention, moronic. Interesting interview, and certainly The Damned, even though they seem never to have been taken seriously by many, were true to the ideals that other punk bands simply cast aside once money and perks came calling. Find David Vanian quite fascinating, as well as a great vocalist.
