Incredible footage. The Damned in that tiny studio with Nick Lowe and all the original equipment that they recorded the album on. Brilliant..just brilliant!

Love the clip of 'Let's Go' by Johnny Thunders & Heartbreakers. Never saw them live unfortunately, although caught Johnny solo around 1984. Did however see The Damned live in early 1977 at The Electric Circus in Manchester supported by The Adverts. What a great punk guitarist Brian James was. Their brilliant first album set the tone. Always sorry when he left the band.

This is the Damned in rehearsals in a basement studio/rehearsal space that used to be halfway up Gerard Street on the same side that the Chinese cake shops are. It's now the basement of either a hair salon or a noodle restaurant. Google it & you'll see that loads of punk bands used it.

Fucking Love JT and The Heartbreakers too, LAMF is probably one of my favorite albums of all time. I've listened to that album from beginning to end so many times it's hard to count. That's one of my favorite albums to play guitar too as well. When I'm in the mood to play along with an album LAMF is my go to (also So Alone by JT, and the Dolls first album as well). I want to see more footage of JT and the Heartbreakers like this on KZbin!

This anarchy era footage would be great if it was to be released. Somewhere there is a great HD channel copy of a complete 77 heartbreakers gig filmed in London probably. I would pay £1000 to see it and own a copy

Johnny Thunders brought punk with him, the Ramones sent it on slow freighter , but the Damned wanted it first in UK , along with ever attentive & ebullient Derek Jarman. Wish i was alive for those times, the corrosion&CREATION !!! Love Rat contending with Don Bolles on Richie Dagger . Damn fast f*****s! - Great music to mix between deathrock of J&MC& My bloody Valentine,Bauhaus' MASK, or Forest/Carnage Visors/Pornography. - BB ( credit due of course to Velvets,as always. We'd still be in holier-than-thou,though talented, Zappaville without the Velvets&Nico )❤️🤍❤️💙🎶💙
