The problem though is that the NFL is desperate to get women on board as fans and sponsors. Protecting their own players over the harm they cause will lead to lost money. The players union is happy today, but tomorrow when they start losing money to victims, watch them act up again.

There is no "right answer," but my preference was to keep him on paid leave indefinitely and let the Browns keep paying that absurd contract like the asshats they are for brokering the deal. I don't know. nothing an employer does or doesn't do is ever going to be "right." personally, I think 66 independent contractors in 2 years is seedy AF. but w/e. edit: and yes, I'm in the cynical end of the room. part of the problem with getting a lot of the government programs going in the US is that we're pretty much a country founded on "fuck you!
