There actually was a laughter epidemic. It happened in 1962 at an all girls school in Tanganyika, Africa. Symptoms included lightheadedness, respiratory issues, fits of screaming and uncontrollable crying, rashes, restlessness and the urge to run around aimlessly, and even extreme flatulence. members at the school were affected. The laughter spread throughout the village to as many as 1,000 people, 14 schools were forced to close.

I don’t know if anyone is going to see this. I just had one of the worst schizophrenia induced panic attacks of my life. It took me four hours to take my pills becuase I was so fucking convinced ir was poison. I wasn’t able to watch anything at first, but then when I started to come down I needed something to focus on. Puppet history was the only thing I felt I could listen to and see that wouldn’t make me feel watched, or paranoid. I love seeing the professor. It’s stuoid but he feels like a dad, like he makes me feel safe. And that was something I wasn’t able to have when I was on the brink of ripping open my mattress at 3 am cuz I thought that a man was hiding in it. It was to early to wake up any family member. The professor helped me focus on something that makes me happy, and makes me feel better, thank you Shane for making this show. It effects people in ways I don’t think you’ll ever know about. Even if my comment is damned to sink to the pits of KZbin comment hell, I needed to get out my experience. I am so grateful for everything watcher makes for us as a community.
