Thought you might like to know about the song "What Angel Wakes Me" is actually not a song. It is more of a dirge or mournful song but put in the only way fairies could, with joy. _Yet with each descent do we rise again_ _To our hearts' content_ _Fa la la la la la_ _Fly away my friend for a day and then_ _We'll begin again_ _Fa la la la la la_ Titania was a faerie and fairies are immortal. Feo Ul doesn't want you, the Warrior of Darkness, to become immortal. Not because of greed, but out of love. Mortals start out different when compared to immortal beings; rushing through life trying to do everything they want to do before they die. Mortals think they want to live forever, but the effort of truely understanding just what *forever* means is impossible to beings who usually think of just how long they have left. Titania was a faerie until they became infected while fighting and ultimely defeating a light warden and took over as the Light Warden and Titania is causing the light infection of Il Mehg. It is only because Titania has such willpower, that they keep can their form and not turn into an angel abomination. The above lyrics describing the life of a faerie no longer applies because Titania would lose control of her mind and start attacking everything; Titania is unable to have fun or enjoy company because there was a very good chance Titania will cause not-fun. That is why Titania is sealed in the castle. _Still down turn the skies_ _Gentle song gently wand'ring_ _Along in the night_ _Joyous cries ring free_ _La la la la la_ _Lying lost in thought_ _Do you love me not?_ _Follow these_ _Petals cast aloft_ _La la la la la_ _Will you, when I'm gone, remember me?_ Titania knows that when they die, everyone in Il Mheg will welcome the darkness and night sky. Titania asks would there still be love for the past-tense King since, as a Light Warden, Titania is definitely not coming back. _Learn to play our part_ _Navigate the dark_ _Up we reach_ _Catch a falling star_ _La la la la la_ _Lock it in our hearts eternally_ But the King, in this state, know why they are locked away and all feeling of sorrow, loneliness, and frustration of waiting until someone that will remove Titania from existence is something that needs to be suffered but also understood. _Time wilts and fades_ _Luster lost in the rain_ _Bows to the blade_ _Till the spring calls again_ The manic King is telling you, the player, that while still lucid that the King does not hate you for doing what you are doing. Titania is losing the fight against the light corruption and remarks that the time of hoping is gone. Titania doesn't want to live like this. _Just end it_ In summary, you two dancing to a song of Titania opening her heart is not rude, but actually the best thing the King could ever ask for.

@darthfrodo7 So, uh.. confession time. I was the big Roe Machinist in the Trial group, first time I got in with the guys. I saw how quickly the HP was melting and though we MIGHT not get to see all the mechanics and thats not as fun, soooo... I intentionally sandbagged my DPS Rotation until the dual Growth Runes (spreading vines)/ Fire Rune (Giant fist with puddles) combo as thats the last "new" mech in the fight. And as a result, we lasted JUST long enough for Garrett to cleave us all. @GrindingGearClips Sorry guys!

fun fact about this fight: you can actually get in there with lv1 gear when you use the df. so all you ilvl cheezers beware you might have to heal/tank Titania one day even tho you tried to avoid it

That tankbuster was poetry. I would daresay the two being swung around by the Nu Mou were the lucky ones. The rest is dead... turned into a topiary or drowned and made a Fuath. That's not madness. That's Il Mheg!

God you two do NOT understand how much this trial wiped out parties on release. It was a definite skill check. Much like the 83 trial of no further description in endwalker. They REALLY like to amp it up for the first trial

KILLING SPREEE! Ohhhhhhh that was a tank cleave there. The orb countdown that spawns adds is introduced in this fight (as you saw during the wipe) , but is used in other fights later on as well. The "confusing thing" is a mechanic that is known as "Shiva circles" because that's the first time it was ever used. And yes, it has always been Peasblossom.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I love the Titania music so, so much - it's a light jazz waltz in a major key, so it seems playful and fun, but when you pay attention to other musical elements, especially the lyrics and how they're sung, there's a sinister and profoundly dangerous edge. Even all this time later, I find it mirrors the pixies breathtakingly well.

A tip for tanking both trials and bosses now you're into SHB. NEVER reset position as a tank after a mechanic. Not unless you know the fight. Too many have frontal cleaves now or aoe tankbusters you can accidentally walk into your party. And moving a boss hurts the DPS uptime on them. 9/10 the boss will reset on their own eventually. Too much movement is bad in this game. It'll also help keep your stress down if you not worrying about moving and resetting all the time

As far as the Fae language... I've read that it's KINDA Gaelic, but... only loosely. They take a lot of liberties with it, to the point those fluent in Gaelic can recognize some stuff, but any dedicated translation is nigh impossible.
