Wouldn't it be nice if we could all have some one in our lives who loved us with such tender care as Don Bosco. Someone to teach us the ways of Evil and the way things truly are. Thank you for the Don Bosco videos, Matthew. I have had to repent for decades because I was a bad friend earlier in life; thank God He was merciful and did not strike me down in my sin, but gave me time to convert and repent and to do penance.

In the 90's I was hanging out with bad friends and it was a disaster. It is also very hard to get them to leave me alone once I was involved with them. I was in my late 30's then

I have someone I've been close to and have tried to HELP OFF AND ON FOR YEAAAAARS!!!! We had a "FALLING OUT" in December, but I wanted to make amends and invited her to Lunch last week. She and another friend joined us. As I was sitting there, trying to be PLEASANT, all the while she was picking at me and getting our other friend to join in. I thought, "Even God would give me a Pass on this Friendship! I'm truly better off alone"!!!! (Something to that effect.)

I am a pet owner. I keep hearing things which are negative asking me to consider getting rid of them. But when I see your vids with your doggo, I feel safe and encouraged. So I dont miss evena single video of yours. Triple advantage. Hearing a story, knowing St Don Bosco and seeing the doggo.

The lesson I learned is: Do not rely on yourself yield to others or to God for help. The boys that tried to fight the beast alone were torn to pieces but those who yielded for help to Don Bosco were saved.

Im an old man now and I finally see..... Most relationships of my 64 years have been with beasts. And I loved them all. Going forward is easier knowing that and staying focused on the sacraments.
