The Danger Of Compromise | Sadie Robertson Huff | Liberty University Convocation 2024

Sadie Robertson Huff spoke at Liberty University's Convocation on February 2, 2024 and issued a challenge for us all! We can get really good at making our compromises sound spiritual. But if you ignore your convictions and continue to compromise, these little things can eventually become big things. Comparing our convictions to other people's, defining our own right and wrongs, and leaning into the things we feel convicted by can lead us to live in the gray area of our spiritual lives. God isn’t using our convictions to shame us - it's to tell us there’s a better way.

This is why we do not celebrate Halloween in any way, shape or form- or any type of witchcraft/magic, even those that seem "innocent". My husband and I have such strong convictions about not being entertained by that which the Lord calls an abomination, and we are definitely a minority in this among our friend groups.

I think it's definitely sinful to watch stuff like that. Filling your mind with worldly sinful nonsense. The Bible tells us to run from that stuff and to diligently protect our hearts and minds. It's not just wrong for certain people with certain callings. Thanks for speaking on this, but I think Christians need to know this applies to everyone and it's very clear when you are spending time in the word every day.

If you notice, when Satan questioned Eve about what God really said, ....(catch this) .....Eve had said God said all the other trees for her and Adam were for them, but the tree of the knowledge of good and evil they are to stay away from, not to eat of it's fruit, ...(here it is) .....she said God also said they were not even to touch it....that's not what God said, she added to the Word of God. God said, they were not to eat of the fruit of the tree in the midst of the garden. Satan still works the same today, he tries to get us to not only doubt God, justify our sins, yet also to get us to add to God's Word, like Sadie said, to hang out near the fire, because it feels good....not realizing that "fire" will burn you. Adding to God's Word to "justify sin", convincing ourselves it can't be that important. I remember another Christian friend saying a long time ago, "seven days without prayer makes one weak." When we break our communication with God, we become very vulnerable, we give Satan an opportunity to affect our lives, we need to stay very alert, not just for ourselves personally, also for our brothers and sisters in Christ, to help each other make it to the end, to meet Jesus in the air at the time of the Resurrection, when He comes in glory to rescue us from this sin sick planet, when that happens, there's no second opportunity. Let's all help each other, to encourage each other. 🕊

Very hard when your husband isn't or doesn't lead you spiritually and you feel bad for having conviction of watching things or doing things of the world. I just want to do what pleases the Lord but it is a problem in my marriage to only want what the Lord wants and not what pleases the Lord. I refuse to watch so many TV shows or movies. Well, Sadie has one thing right in the thumbnail pic! :) Looking sharp - like she knows something's up. (Before watching this video, I will risk commenting on what I see. I've always distrusted & been slightly disturbed by Roman Catholic style art, especially the pictures. ESPECIALLY THAT two-fingered hand salute and the forked beards, etc... (shudder) It simply seems off somehow. ijs lol (I'm definitely not in the Jordan B Peterson camp. And, believe it or not, JBP is probably to the 'right' of BerGOGlio, Pope Francis. I never did trust the Franciscan Friars agenda (seemed like lazy propaganda seeking influence and possessions by a hypocritical way of renouncing-then-managing such things. Anyway, that was a diversion.) Btw, tho I like old things and histories. But I don't like admiring or treasuring the old trickeries in themselves, so I may be correct or not, but I got to say something about that 'two finger' salute. Sadie got it right: it's leftward. No matter what, uh, one of my new favorite musicians happens to believe (Phil Wickham! Go man!). Catholicism & its traditions are truly, actually, on the political Left (Collectivist and Institutional), as are many things including most all symbology in our narratives. Things meant to draw us together on a broad basis, but often lean toward trust in, basically, earthly tax-based kingships and formal pyramids that are tall and far removed from immediate single-nuclear-family households.) Leftward beyond that is the violence of the FR French Revolution anti-theistic Left which is fallen from favor (the ideology of the CCP collective-imperial mask in China that wears the Dragon as its political symbol (and via the CCP now is officially, militarized, neo-Darwinian in faith). The FR Leftism of today actually is akin to Isis Earth-worship Neo-paganism, or gnostic hermeticism (etc) (in fact, in the FR, they honored a statue of Isis in Notre Dam Cathedral - all that earned them after a few years of massive bloodshed was self-crowned Emperor Napoleon - and after him, the same Royalty as before. Tho the particular Roman pontiff at that time died in French captivity). Dirty secret: before the FR, the anti-theist wealthy wanted protestant bible-toting rabble BACK INTO RCC or dead. (all that much more convenient to manage Christians without addressing the Bible's truth claims - and then burn the buildings & hierarchy with the people inside.) Protestants, being killed and their Bibles burned and at war with Royalty, fled France and went to Britain (BEFORE the FR main violence even began). So while Britain was enjoying the British Enlightenment, FR went with their own mocking copy-cat. And while The Americans had their American Revolution (in thought!) over a few decades, FR followed copy-cat-style with their own French rEvolution. (So evolved. One must evolve or be 'left behind' dontchaknow. But that's one of Satan's lies - because: to change one's mind into disagreeeing with Darwin & Neo-Darwinism? That's also "change over time", that is an "evolution" of personal discovery and deep thought. :) ) One must seek God as an individual, for that is how we are judged by God. However many are baptized, and however one is baptized, (actually means "immersion") one experiences it (and the faith that welcomes it) one person at a time. Men may lead their entire households to desire baptism, but there is nothing in the Christian doctrine about being saved without having faith as an individual before God, under God of Heaven. (I hear the "appeal to heaven" flag was recently called "Christian Nationalist" - actually it is the very opposite, which is why it is an "appeal to heaven" - i.e. not the state...but that's another story.) Faith matters. Even the anti-theist's "light-switch" faith. It's about Reality in Unity. And sooner or later every knee will bow to Yeshua/Yahshua (I'm still unsure as to the exact spelling of Jesus' Hebrew name related to Joshua's. YHWH saves by his own Spirit in his own person, either case. Us in him. Believing. The hope of Glory is in Jesus. What this essentially means is: One day: all stories we tell will either be exact histories or their narratives will fall. There is to be no Jesus standing beside his own actor portraying Jesus, in the end. At least, that's not how I view it. Right now, we see in part, and we explore. But when the Person of God is found: the derivative is a distraction from the Reality. May we seek Him. With all of our hearts. And all imposters, mockers, servants, actors - we will all see him face to face and be judged accordingly to what we have done and acknowledged. I hope that when I see Jesus, he will say: Welcome, son. Welcome, friend. Welcome, brother. I can do more than imagine. But I've barely begun to even imagine. The world of things that God desires in Creation.) Long live the McDowell christian evidences 'dynasty'! Father and son. Long may men seek truth, evidence, persuasion, and practicality - over staged manipulation, collective mysticism, regime force, and tax-based redistribution. Oh, and go Sadie! And Christian! (I'm sure my long, unpracticed, wild, unorthodox, type-rant here will be a surprise to some out there in 2024. But, hey, there are worse ways to offer one's opinion or be a shock jock. Nobody is forced to read it. (I hope Sadie allows it to remain for a day or two, but I understand if I'm blocked after this, again... Someday I'll be a professional...... Package things in a more - uh packageable - way. Until then there's G0g's KZbin comment section. Rumble on. Here's to Jan 21, 2025, happy times. Makes me hope for the day Revelation 20:11 arrives. Hopefully soon. "Open the books!", I say. We are epistles read of men, but may we read & openly evaluate theirs as well. Awareness and appropriate action - and condemnation of someone's soul (?) - are two very separate things. Nevertheless, someday we will have clarity enough to judge angels with God's Authority.) 📕 📖😃

Soul Purified Now in Christ's Blood ! Realize you are a sinner being sorry. Sin is lying, evil thoughts, lust, etc. Therefore, do not trust in your own works to go to heaven because you realize, being a sinner, you cannot offer the perfect blood sacrifice that God requires to pay for sin. Instead, believe, meaning fully trust, that in Christ's love for you, on the cross, His one perfect blood sacrifice, when Christ bled, suffered and died, in your place, paid for your sins in full, past, present and future ! Believe that Jesus rose from the dead ! Believe Jesus is God Almighty, God the Son, alive for evermore ! And believe that the sinless blood of Jesus Christ is what cleanses you from all sin, which purifies your soul ! Then the Lord Jesus will forgive you, save you from hell and give you eternal life ! Liberty University platforming a female impersonating an effete, woke evangelical male pastor, and on the topic of the dangers of compromise no less. “11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”
