I don’t mean to offend anyone with my comment, but I want to ask something because I have a genuine question: How do you explain the great figures of Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome who were obviously not Christian and believed in other deities? How could God bless Alexander the Great, Pyrrhus of Epirus, Achilles, or Julius Caesar, granting them fame and glory, and making the world admire them eternally, if they believed in other deities? In fact, they believed in deities that were later labeled as "evil" by Christians. In Revelation 2:12-13, it is mentioned that Satan's throne was in Pergamum (referring to the sanctuary of Zeus). I’m very interested in your response. Thank you in advance.

there are certain figures like cyrus and alexander which God used to fulfill certain purposes, those two in specific were prophesied of before their reign. also the rise and fall of the empires from babylon to rome was prophesied of. but to answer your question I believe the answer kinda lies in your question itself, "making the world admire them.." we as believers were not created for this world, for this world and everything in it is perishing. we are heirs of a new heaven and a new earth (rev 21) there are many people who have seemed to accomplish "great" feats void of God, but they all lie in the same place, in the dirt from which they were made. their glory is not "eternal" as you said, for we have yet to enter into eternity, and when we do enter into eternity, this world will pass away and so will the admiration of all those who walked in iniquity.

@@kenny87ification I respect and understand where your worldview and beliefs come from, as I have read the Bhagavad Gita and have studied various other world religions. However, to me as well as the majority Christian audience here, the Christ, Yeshua, both fully man and fully God came down to fulfill the Law and prophecy by giving us humans, the ability to call upon him in repentance and atonement so that he may stand WITH us on the day of judgement to speak on our behalf. Krishna, to the Hindu culture is a layered figure who similarly espouses love, divine wisdom, and self sacrifice. However, the power of Jesus is that he not only taught but He gave his life as the ultimate sacrifice, the ultimate gift. His blood and His body the ultimate atonement for the human condition. While I believe that we can have a respectful discourse on this issue, you will have no influence here as Jesus proved, not just through his miracles, not just through his teachings, no, not even through his world-wide influence, but through making himself through the plan of the Father the ultimate sacrificial lamb, that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There are many prophetic teachers that have materialized on this world, that have had great wisdom to spread in sprinkles of Truth. And I am grateful for that wisdom. But wisdom without the guidance of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, is desolate and unfinished. My brother in humanity, I hope you heed my words of love and exchanged wisdom as an open door to see that we are not all together divided, but are inherently unified by the ultimate Truth and sacrifice of Jesus the Christ and I hope that your heart may be softened to feel His love which is unlike any experience. Those whom disagree with me. I can only speak for the very personal and biblically bound relationship that I have with God and I seek only to live in his footsteps and labor against the log in my own eye.
