Think nudes are rough? Wait for violent images against someone. What needs to happen is us owning our image. I’ve seen a lot of AI things. There’s literally men that can’t tell it’s AI and it’s literally so obvious. Also, the amount of people (content creators) that have had something happen due to deepfakes and AI. I’ve seen videos on why it’s so bad. I’m actually terrified. Also Emily you look so pretty 😭🫶💞

this is terrifying to me. i’ve been a victim of stalking since 2020. the dude would take photos of me without me knowing and then photoshop them or make posters out of them, make actual web pages using my pictures, try to get my address, make plenty sexual “jokes” about me, write strange essays on me, dig through all my digital footprint available, and so much more. ive also been told he has an actual sex doll with my face printed on it. also i know a girl who went to primary school with him and when he was younger he would put his classmates’ faces on porn scenes in photo editing programs. this all has been making me extremely sick for years now. i’ve been stripped from my privacy and this whole thing generally fucked me up quite a bit. this year i graduated from high school so it’s finally over at last. but i still don’t know probably most of what he did with my image. i’m scared how much porn of me might be on his computer. and this whole deepfakes thing just makes this a hundred times worse. why are we giving pieces of shit like him tools to use?

AI has terrified me from day one, and this is just making my fears much more real. As it’s growing much more accessible and prominent, people in positions of power NEED to start establishing laws surrounding the software. It’s gross how people can misuse it so easily, and it should be illegal to create that type of content.

I'm about to do a project on this subject for my criminal law class. One of my favorite actresses recently experienced this and the effect it had on her and the judgement she got was maddening. I'm hoping laws start to be made against it very soon and people learn not to automatically trust every photo or video they see on the internet.

i totally agree that it's absolutely horrendous that people are using AI for such deplorable things. :( it's just baffling to me that the people using AI for these purposes don't have any empathy whatsoever or seem to even consider what it would be like if they had disgusting AI-generated images of them posted on the internet. like... genuinely, you made a really good point with the skit you did about that. it's truly horrible. T_T great video, luv your channel and good luck getting to 1M subs :D

This is why I refuse to show my face anywhere online. Literally any creep can take my face and use it for something disgusting. And to know this could happen to any female creator at any time is sick.

One of the other dangers that you touched on tangentially is how AI video and audio undermines all kinds of actual evidence that you would otherwise be able to point to and use for or against someone or something. It makes it easier to gaslight others and to discount evidence that contradicts your worldview.

There are so many people posting their underage kids online, and I will forever advocate that they take those contents down bc it’s so risky. I was shocked when New Jeans debuted and released songs like Cookie because Hybe was trying to normalize it in the name of young talent, and everyone fell for it. I’m 100% convinced there are deepfakes of those idols somewhere, and I bet other idols get victimized the same way but it’s especially concerning with more minors debuting. It’s SO FUCKED UP. We need strict UNIVERSAL laws on deepfakes because how is that not a huge crime???

I don’t usually comment on youtube but I really love your content! It’s very entertaining even if the topics are sometimes a bit grim like this one. i laughed, i like you, and i want good things to happen to you . okay lmaoo in all seriousness i was cracking up over the ‘select all the images with fire hydrants’ 😭 but ai is getting absolutely terrifying, i can’t even think of a reason why someone would use a deepfake for good, like what was the point of them being made? really unfortunate that technological advancements are rarely even good anymore

My dad literally sat my sisters and I down to talk about this and how to protect ourselves from these AI deepfakes. where you talked about how these ai photos are affecting people irl even if they're "fake" my old teacher had this happen to her and she literally stopped working for 3 whole weeks and all her kids too stopped coming to school. So whenever i see people say smth like "It's just fake" it's really annoying since i know someone who it has affected and affected them bad. (in case anyone is wondering she is doing a lot better now and has started working again!)

The "it's not even real" argument isn't even accurate. AI feeds on real pictures, real videos, real audios of real people and create a modification. There are as real as a picture with a filter on it, or any other modification. That's like looking at someone's wedding photo and say "yeah nothing of this is real" because the pictures have been retouched
