Oh dear there is a saying which applies here “fools rush in where even angels fear to tread. I have a healthy respect for OB’s after a terrifying experience with one when I was twelve years old. Also it’s sad when choices we make as inexperienced children have a huge impact on our future happiness and indeed our well being This poor group of children were like lambs to the slaughter. I am70 years old and wouldn’t mess about one of those evil boards if someone put a gun to my head. They are the epitome of evil and feeds on fear. So stay safe out there. Abandoned places are abandoned for a reason .such a sad tale which we can learn a great deal from .

I too am 70.. have no experience with the ouija board because of the article I read in Reader's Digest when I was about 10.. that's how much it had affected me to this day. It was several stories of familes and the horrible experiences that they had with it and every one ended with a plea and warning to never have one in your house or "play around" with it. Here it is in 2023.. and we are still hearing terrifing things about it !

A friend of mine was in France on vacation as a kid. One day he was sitting alone, he stared at a wall which had a poster on it. From behind the poster a claw emerged and scratched the surface of the poster, The poster was on a solid part of the wall with no hole or room for an arm underneath it.

I was a kid in the 1960’s. We had a ouigi board, played with it a little. Lost interest in it. I felt like when I got into my twenties, the ouigi board was an evil vehicle. Never wanted anything to do with it. In 1973 I went to see the newly released exercist movie. It scared the crap out of me and made me think that I, to the point of thinking “ the evil side is always around, you just better keep your mind’s door closet to evil.

Ive seen 2 dogmen as a child in Corpus Christi. Running on hind legs their nails clicking on the old wooden deck. My bed was even to the window. One was black the other copper brown. The black one was carrying a tray covered with yellowish cloth. They are real!

Unfortunately I played with a ouija board when I was 17, I remember my 2 buddies asked it when they were going to Die, I couldn't do that, I remember after they asked it that it told them, I can't remember what it told them, I'm 55 years old now. Crazy

I have that ability - without a doubt. It is quite scary when it happens and you don't know why. Once you understand it you can do some really positive, incredible things. I've saved my own life several times - and also the lives of several other people. There is no doubt that I have it. I can tell some really amazing stories, even writing a book. I’m a Christian. In the Bible it is called discernment. It’s a God given ability that the devil has twisted to his own use. I’m positive the door to evil can be opened by use of a Ouija board. Mine is a true gift from God. This sound like it came out of the pit.

I had a similar ability when I was a teenager. Quite a few times I would be on some stairs & suddenly I would know that someone would have an accident that day. I would know if it was going to happen in the morning or afternoon, which limb would be broken & whether it would happen to a boy or girl. The premonition was always accurate. I had a bad time. I was accused of being a witch. Some people said that I must be causing the accidents by pushing people but I was never anywhere nearby when the accidents happened. I could not have somehow influenced the individuals involved as I never knew who the accidents would happen to. One day some kids started throwing stones at me. Sharp flints on the school field. It was very frightening.

Because they didn't know better. Let me explain, there is nothing wrong with being a witch. It depends on what type of witch you are. There are white witches nearly everywhere you go, you just don't know it because they don't announce to the world that they are witches. Most witches are about nature and preserving nature, working with nature. Learning about the fauna and flora of our world and the good the plants can do for us. Learning about healing plants has always been one of my interests.

I have seen 2 incidents with ouija board, 1st was a candle that grew to 18inch flame in the reflection of mirror. 2nd was cursor was on board after leaving it in dresser 8 ft away from board. We broke that board,Always brake it!!Do Not burn one!

You should do a story with this… (of course you’d have to put your spin on it) 👍 but anyway here goes…. now back in 68 dad (a Huey side gunner) his chopper under orders to air lift some few survivors of a “enemy ambush” landed in a hot LZ now dad is shooting everyone is screaming and the pilot is yelling hurry hurry hurry now a few guys get on but dad sees a Lieutenant wounded and about to be left behind, he leaves the chopper runs under fire to pick up the Lieutenant and quickly carries him to the chopper, well as they’re flying out the Lieutenant with great appreciation says “thank you” and hands dad a silver bullet from his sidearm which was a 45 revolver… I know when dad told me this story I said “a silver bullet? What were you guys fighting other than Vietcong? Werewolves? Dad didn’t say anything in response 😳

I wonder if this was the same park that was made into a horror movie. It was a small community at one time and it was hit by a nuke it killed everyone. There is still radiation there and they allow no one there. But it was a movie so is this story connected?? P. S. There are alot of thrill seekers who unfortunately died a early death. If they would have all made it out there would have been health repercussions, the state should have ensued no one could gain entrance. These deaths could have been avoided.
