Honestly, I don’t really understand why I’m so enthralled by your stories & narrations? Maybe it’s because despite how frightening your tale may be, you always sound very calm & matter-of-fact, which is very rare in this genre…not really sure. Whatever the reason, I quickly listened to all of your videos after I discovered “Abigail Puttman’s Diary,” and now I have to wait for your next upload, which is killing me! You can read his motive by looking up his name. Mutsuo Toi. He has TB and he claimed in his suicide notes that he felt he was being socially cast out due to it and being rejected by women also. He actually cut all the electricity to the village and strapped two lights on his head before he started.

I wonder what made that man suddenly decide to go on his killing spree? For me, the story of the massacre was already scary and tragic, but the description of how his face was devoid of any emotion when he tried to kill that little girl was truly terrifying.

This is just one side of the whole story. This case had so many elements -- the old country village people relationships and rules and habits, the prejudices for the lung illness and failing to be a soldier, and so on. (And he had an older sister who married in the different village. I can't imagine the hardship she had afterwards...) The man went into the mountain, and shot himself to be found with a note the next day, not in his house with his grandmother's body. About the "note" with a word "Die/死ぬ" you mentioned -- Never heard of. May I ask what resources you had?
