Nope, When Ivern met "his" Golem it was already alive. From Iverns Bio: "On occasion, he rescued creatures unjustly wounded by careless predators. In one instance, he found a wounded stone-golem. Knowing the poor creature was on the verge of death, he fashioned her a new heart from a river pebble. Adhering to the tradition of all mineral beings, the golem became Ivern’s devoted life-friend. He named her Daisy, after the flowers that mysteriously sprouted from her stone body." But what i can think of is that, if the location where Ivern's Lore takes place is not far from the river Daisy probably drowned in, it could be that Human-Daisy's soul resided in that river or the river pebble Ivern gave the Golem as a new heart. But there is no clear evidence and it's kind of a stretch too but with various other spirit-manifestations in League like Nocturne and Evelynn it should be possible.

I don't think it is that far-fetched. Riot doesn't use one name for two different characters. I think it is pretty much confirmed through Annie's story and Annie's cinematic that Ivern's Daisy was a human child once. The question isn't if Daisy from Annie's story and Daisy from Ivern are the same. The question is how did it exactly happen. And I will call bullshit if they do not follow up on this with some explanation.

Riot designers and writers are apparently having an edgy phase right now and the MUST rewrite every even slightly happy character to have their whole existence an everlasting loop of suffering.... Look at Zac for example. Ingame he is cheerful, having fun, and his old lore is about he is friggin' GREEN SUPERMAN. What is his new lore? He is completely unstable mentally because he absorbs emotions from his surroundings, meaning he will become aggressive and murderous if he is in a hostile environment like Zaun for example so he hangs out in Piltover as much as he can.

Tbh I feel so bad for her stepmother. I personally think the stepmother only became toxic to Annie after she saw the drawings because in the drawings, it was clear that Annie wanted to separate the mother and daisy from her real family! In the drawing, it looks like she wants to separate them using FIRE. Why wouldn’t the stepmother dislike her after she saw those drawings? On top of that, her seeing the drawings might have been the reason why she blamed Annie for daisy’s death. If it’s SO CLEAR that Annie wants to separate the mother and daisy from her real family, why wouldn’t the mother think that she killed daisy on purpose?
