a very nice-looking truck, from the outside and inside. The most thing I liked is the air suspension system, the only thing I didn't like was that it has a paccar engine. I just ordered 2024 T680 with a Cummins X15, Tan Dimon interior so it will be more pleasant and light in the back. After seeing this video, I'll change the front axile from regular suspensions to air ride suspensions. Also, I'll add Torque Assisted Steering system to be the perfect package.

660 Studio Blows these newer models away. Had one for several years. Not much different than the W 900. In my 990 for almost a year now, Looks Great but lacking. The curtain always gets stuck in the drawer unless I secure it with the tie-down, kinda not favoring changing clotheswith the curtains open. The door seals aren't as tight as the old Bulkhead Doors of which happened to be one of the Biggest Feature Benefits of that era. The Aquarium Windshield has the Greenhouse Effect, Blinding Sun & extreme heat. More prone to cracks from road debris, had 1 Repair & 1 Replacement Already. The CB Radio position is in an awkward spot. Definitely designed by Engineers who never drove a Truck. I like the older instrument panel/dash configuration better & wasn't Cheaply constructed the narrower cab enabled superior visibility. Still better than all the Curb Sniffers out there, But, getting pretty close by Devolving. I was so looking forward to being among some of the first to Sport these impressive looking Kenworths. But having almost a 100 K miles to compare, I must say I'm not as impressed as I'd hoped to be. So summize KENWORTH HAS GONE THE WRONG WAY on these Cab Models. W 900 is the Only Contender in the Fleet. Just an opinion, but I'm quite sure I've got alot of company on this.

Hey Joff, they look nice and have a bigger bunk but never can compete with european trucks due to a lot of small design flaws, which can bother a driver on a daily use, rough ride due to second drive axle and you don't sit as high as in an Actros , MAN or Scania. Greetings from Canada.

Kenworth’s designs are more elevated than any other truck manufacturer in North America in my humble opinion. I only wish that they would step up their infotainment game add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to their trucks. It would make life that much more pleasant for us.

Hey Kenworth guy since you are have a pretty good following..... I purchase a new t680 apparently the Kim system is 1/4 the way installed..... AutoStart switch, thermostat control unit, extra fuel tank supports to move the tank back...... The housing and exhaust and wiring for the espar heater.... Apparently from what I was told there were shortages and they were unable to install the entire system nor the espar heater.... Oh I almost forgot I have the switches for the automatic start and intelligent cruise radar system but none of the components were installed due to the same apparent reason..... I understand that the Kim system is a factory only installation option but is there anyway I could possibly have the system a dealership and installed....

Nice truck but two problems. Steering wheel can't be tilted to the front far enough like in other trucks. Don't get it why Kenworth is not able to do so. And the full electronic dashboard freezes. Already 76 000 units are due for recall. When they catch a driver with a frozen Instrument cluster they will fine the driver and place him out of service. Finally air ride at the front axle has arrived in North America . I like to know if it really takes out the rough bouncing out of the rear drive axle going over a railroad track. Has the front axle also those add. dampers?

It’s a new truck, so it looks nice. Same interior now. Let me help you out here. Take the refrigerator from behind the driver seat put it over there up under the table that pulls out also take the drawers that you have, and put them on the other side behind the driver seat also gives at least six more inches of legroom behind the driver seat Also make a little nightstand behind the drivers seat just like Freightliner so you can put your CPAC machine your tablet and your cell phone let’s bring back the zip up curtains so that you could actually zip them up and get total darkness. How about this change the microphone to noise cancellation when you’re using the phone system in the truck so that you can actually use it. It’s a feature that a driver really can’t use. You still got to go buy a blue Perry Kenworth. It’s just selling you the same interior specs there’s nothing new there’s nothing changing. Also put the studio sleeper couch in one make that an option Make it so where you could change the lights inside of the truck to purple red or blue give some options if you buy the truck you might as well take it to thousand and 15 Kenworth. Oh never mind you guys are going to still keep making the same bullshit, interior I don’t mean no harm like I said I appreciate your videos. The Kenworth is like iPhone is selling you the same phone there’s no need to buy a new one. There’s nothing updated. Nothing a digital dash a pretty dash you take it to the Ray guy he can put that 2023 dash in a 2015 or 18 you change the nose of the truck in the body molding same old truck nothing no

I think I like the layout of the storage better in this over the Peterbilt 579. But I like the dash in the 579 better hehe. I think KW and Peterbilt could take a leaf outta Volvo and Freightliners design on the overhead storage above the driver though. Be nice if the interiors on the higher trim levels were a bit more finished out.. More wood trim, pleather/leather, and such. Compared to modern commuter vehicles, all the hard plastic seems a couple decades behind. The textured plastic is about as bad as popcorn ceilings in houses, all the creases and crevices just increase surface area to collect dirt and grime. Even if its just a vinyl wrap or a vaneer, be better than bland grey or tan plastic.😅 Even cheapo RV interiors at least look better on the surface, and for the price of these new trucks I'd at least expect that much attention to detail.

There are a couple of T680s in my company with dual stacks; one high roof, one mid roof. On the high roof one cannot really see the stacks anyway, duals seem to be a waste of money and weight. I like the dual stacks on the midroof.

I think now Volvo is the leader in quality! after the CAT stopped making the engine for KW more and more problems. Peccar can only stick their stickers on American parts and sell at double the price, but they themselves Cannot do anything with high quality.
