A bit of a hot take, but after the reveal of an ancient Mayan/Aztec temple on the island where the upcoming film's story is said to take place, I think that the dark secret, may be some sort of revelation that these ancient civilizations may have also, somehow, cloned and utilized dinosaurs for a good chunk of time before some catastrophe took place, and maybe a remnant of said catastrophe( a genetic abomination of a lifeform containing the D.N.A. of several dinosaurs like the Indominus, but at least ten times deadlier) is unearthed, awakened and encountered by the film's human characters, and in addition to acquiring the resources needed to produce this proposed " wonder drug" for humanity, they must also fight against, and somehow survive this ancient, genetically engineered horror. Hopefully maybe even there would be a team up with Rexy and the Spinosaurus to take down the abominable nightmare!!!!!!

That's a pretty decent breakdown. I really hope they do go with the diseased route, like DX, more so than the silly human/dinosaur hybrid scheme, that would just be a bit too much. The thing is though with DX [if that's what this is], wouldn't you think it would have begun to & spread between the fallen kingdom & the Dominion time line? I mean, why wait that long 'till we're in 2027 in that universe? About five or nine years later [since fallen kingdom]. I would welcome the whole DX phenomenon into that universe, but I kinda do think it's just a little bit late in the game for that now.

The tricking dogs into the woods thing is so true it happened to my dog. One day I let my dog out next thing I know he's following a coyote into the woods not to be seen for 2 whole weeks. Then one morning I go outside a lo and behold he's in the yard acting normal with a huge gaping hole in his belly and you could see a few ribs that were pretty chewed up. I tried to catch him but he ran off I was guessing to die so a month goes by know dog then again one morning I go out he's sitting in the yard dang near healed up but he had a huge ugly scar the vet cleared him saying he miraculously healed himself up he just needed some rest antibiotic spray to make sure the scar didn't get an infection.

It's still baffles me how they DIDN'T go down the route of having the dinosaurs spread viruses/diseases in Dominion and having that be the main problem. Instead... we get bloody bugs. 🙄 Yeah, I'm not letting that go. That's still a big issue with the film. I'm hoping Rebirth does attempt to bringing some of that classic novel lore into the films though. In a way that's respectful and makes sense, of course.

That´s why they introduced human cloning, but the backlash made them think twice, that´s why they didn't even know what to do further in Dominion. Even further we confirmed by the photos that they climb down to an entrance so they can enter the Ruins and we also saw leaked photos of the interior of the Ruins. So they are making the reveal there, now the crazy rumors talk about a hidden Research Facility inside the Ruins where they performed experiments beyond just dinosaurs for the theme park. Like an exaggerated version of the abandoned facility in Jurassic 3 with the deformed/mutated embryos in the tubes. The rumor says... that they were experimenting on bioweapons, what kind... well some say the DX, but with the dinosaurs isolated again is a weird choice and not something that gives you enough for a trilogy... We need to wait and see.

Lol that Doom movie sucked. Better to not discuss it. Jurassic Park is becoming Animorphs confirmed. Those hybrids remind me of Koopa devolving in the 90s Mario Bros movie. Rebirth focusing on a cure for a virus sounds just as dumb as Dominion being about stopping locusts. So hopefully that's not what we end up with.

The problem is, if they go the HUMAN HYBRID route, it has to be Rated-R. If it’s PG-13 it will be cheesy. If it’s a regular Dino story, please make it a good plot, and stop with the extreme action sequences!! The original Jurassic Park was a thriller movie, not a Fast and Furious extreme CGI action film!!
