My life path and soul urge number is 8, and when I saw this video, I cried. Nobody talks about these things in detail. This video have touched my actual problems of being or feeling like a victim, and not believing in my capabilities. And I am so frustated that I don't believe in my capabilities, bcuz my narcissistic mom and criticising dad have crushed my self esteem from the childhood. Hey, Nat!! I love your work and am so grateful to have found another 8 life path who seems to speak right through me 👀 You are right on 🎯 As a child, I recognized how my Mom (life path 4) felt threatened by my power. That knowledge in combination with being bullied by peers as a child led me to give away my power. I shifted into whatever person made other people happy for most of my life. I recognize that I made choices in which I continuously denied my own desires, interests, motivations and unique creative signature. Time and again. I recognize now that at my lowest points, I shop too much and avoid my own pain and spiritual path. I feel so fortunate that I see these patterns now and that nothing feels better than working to help others remember their power through teaching them what I have learned. As a therapist, I am blessed to be in a position of guidance and I love nothing more than to build up other people. I can teach them strategies for managing difficult thoughts, emotions and encourage them to take values-based action. It's a new day for me but it wasn't always this way and as usual, you are wise and will continue to help people understand themselves with your work. Thank you for affirming my path and for shining your light ✨💖

I am only now peeking into that closest where I put my personal power. At various time in my life I glimpsed the strength of my life path 8 power but quickly shelved it in fear of being tossed out or away from loved ones who just where not having me if I was powerful. Or so I thought. What ever it was that motivated me to seek this form of victim hood it’s over. I now see that when I step up these loved ones family members step aside. And when they don’t I don take the hit in the way I did in the past. I am no available in the same way as before

I have the life path of 8 and I would say that one of the things I am most passionate about is standing up against the misuse of power/corruption and material gain at the expense of others. Lawd you just read me! lol I am currently swimming in the shadows. I see all three of these playing out in my life right now. It's interesting what you say about our siritual nature and also dominence as I am realizing this sometimes shows up in me as self righteousness. But The Struggle for Balance is Real. I am a Life Path 8 and just realized that both of my children are too. (9 yr old son & 6/almost 7yr old daughter) I would love to hear more about this shadow side as it relates to our relationships with our children and just those in general who show up in our lives in significant ways with the same Life Path number. It's intersting to me that I have both the male and female little #8's to study, nurture and care for, especially as it relates to balancing male and female energies within myself...

All 3 of the dark or shadow numbers have touched at least once in my life. I typically get my shit together and come out successful. However, when I lost my dream job due to downsizing in 2009, I lost it for a couple years and retired. I went into real estate in 2013 and was very successful again. Things really changed in 2017 and I lost my mojo again and this time it has been difficult in getting it back. I feel success is just around the corner but patients isn’t one of my strengths. I will get there again I know it!!!😉

I'hv been an SGI member for 15 years since my childhood, and from my experience I am telling you that nam myo ho renge kyo is never going to be the solution to ur problems, you will hv to work on yourself, the inner self, heal yourself, transform yourself, shift your mind to positive mindset and perspective, thats how problems can be resolved.

@@purplepurrer there is no shame in that, from my experience I was just sharing, definitely nmhk gives strength bcuz of the faith, but we can have faith through different sources as well, and what actually changed and transformed my life was spiritual awakening and innerwork. Very Interesting indeed! After many years of chasing money, I discovered teaching! Yes, I know, a terrible job! Well no, actually! It helped me embody the helping others part of the jig saw, it also helped me realise what an effect I personally can have on others, and that the power of the role needs to be tempered with love, empathy, and kindness! Believe me, It has taken a lifetime of evolving, overcoming many set backs along the way. Funny how a spiritual way of life has been the starting point for this transformation, from learning meditation, Reiki, MBCT, and being a Shaktipat initiate, this has certainly showed me how to be a more holistic person, and has benefited those around me, I think! I life path 8.. all this makes sense but I have no idea what I even want. I was abused for a long time so victimhood is something I am working to overcome, and I totally have gotten into the materialistic goals of life as well as helping my husband start his own business. I just don’t know what I want so I turn around and help others.. this is a lot to think about.
