The photo at 5:00 is actually particularly important to me. That summer of 2001 I happened to be down there on my bike (I was 12 at the time and yes, on my own) and I was about to head home but I decided to take a detour to see the Twin Towers. They were my favorite buildings in the city so I always felt a special connection to them. That street in the photo is where I was and I walked up to the south face of the South Tower there and just looked up and took it in. And then I touched the facade and I still remember that rough prickly feeling of the metal. That was the last time I was there before they came down.

11:48 is one of the landing gear tires that took out a whole section of the outer steel columns. It flew 2 blocks and landed there near the church It is also, I believe, the sprinkler system piping wrapped around it. In certain videos you can see on the south side of the north tower, fairly early within a minute of impact, water coming from around the 90th or so floor, falling out of the tower, which I believe is from the sprinkler system. The other landing gear hit a car and landed 2 blocks further south on the corner of rector and west st.

We stood in that winter garden and walked through the mall section and underneath where the subway meets and where it was bombed in 93. I wasn’t on my depression meds back then yet and felt so much more emotion back then. That tour and standing on that holy ground just felt so odd. I'll never forget standing on the sidewalk and looking up it was an impressive site. We were traveling from Virginia and 25 years later, one of my good friends from that class told me he lost his uncle on 9/11. He worked at the WTC and wasn't able to escape. To this day, my friend can't bring himself to look at pictures or watch documentaries. In 2005, I was in a yoga class with a woman who was in NYC for 9/11. She had moved to Virginia because she said she just couldn't handle the constant memories anymore. Every day, physically being there made it more difficult to move on with her life.

That first tire you showed was certainly a plane tire. I was just thinking how different our understanding of 9/11 would have been if we had smartphones back then. I think it would have been more horrific. It was live on TV, but many of the survivor stories, and even many non survivor stories would have been told through live video. We would know so much more about that day, probably things we should be grateful we don’t know. I remember listening to NYPD scanner radio on the internet the night of 9/11 and hearing people screaming in the background at the Empire State Building. They were evacuating it and other tall buildings. I think I recall there were bomb threats. Thanks for sharing this. I paid little attention to 9/11 in the years after because it was too overwhelming the first few years, but this year I’ve been binging on content and stories. Every story is unique and builds a picture of how unimaginably horrifying it was. God forbid this ever happens ever again. And God bless every victim and their families and friends, who lived and died in that attack.

In regards to the fountain, If you look at a video that showed the WTC from a hotel room in the Millennium Hilton, you can see the fountain struggling to run not long after the North Tower was hit. The water starts and stops for a while. My guess is, the returns in the fountain got blocked by the thousands of pieces of paper that came from the building after the plane hit, or the debris on the fountain dammed the water too much and prevented it from flowing down properly. But I think it was the former.

Interesting video! I often think about how it would have been if the towers were still standing. A few weeks ago, I came across the BOK Tower, also known as One Williams Center, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This tower was designed by Minoru Yamasaki, the same architect as the Twin Towers, and it's almost an exact 1/2 replica of Tower 1. It has the same shape and built with the same large open floor plan. This tower is still standing and has undergone several renovations over the years. Maybe this could be an interesting topic for a video, as it might provide an idea of what might have happened to the North Tower if 9/11 hadn't occurred.

I agree with you completely. In my hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has a 28-story office tower that bares a bittersweet but uncanny resemblance to the design of the Twin Towers. If you search pictures of it online, you can see what I mean. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:LDSChurchOfficeBuilding.jpg - This link is one of the pictures of the building. However, its architect is George Cannon Young, a very likely descendant of Brigham Young, and it is not hard to see where he got his inspiration in designing the structure.

I'm selling everything to buy a motorhome and travel the country and do a KZbin channel of my own once I learn how to do that,.. I don't watch TV because all the education one needs is right here on KZbin and your channel is not only entertaining an informative, but when you also comment at the end of each picture it's like you're commenting from the heart and that is really awesome what you do thank you for all your content and hard work !!

You kno it’s proven that it’s very possible that a passport being that there’s a thick layer of leather on the outside did fly out of the plane on the impact.

This was touched on in the 9/11 iceberg video. (For what it's worth I'm someone who always thought this was incredibly suspect.) But when you see an incredible amount of paper debris floating in the air after impact, the notion that a passport might survive isn't that implausible. Still find it suspect, don't get me wrong. I mean were passports from passengers ever found? Statistically unlikely that just the hijacker's ID would be found.

I don't understand why people would demonize you or your videos...they are the most honest pics I've seen of 9/11 since it happened. You may not be aware though that they are graphic. There are obvious human remains in some of the pics....I suggest a graphic warning content to deter minors...but otherwise a very honest, truthful, and respectful video.

I do agree with you but I do feel like all images of what happened that day should be respectfully preserved. I've always felt like if it were me I wouldn't want it to be shoved in the faces of my loved ones to hurt them, but I would want what happened to me to be remembered. I feel like the most disrespectful thing we could do to them is forget or sugar coat it to make it seem any less tragic than it actually was.

Technically yes. When you think about it, because of the butterfly effect, this affected the entire world very quickly. So, everyone conceived after 9/11 wouldn’t have been born if this event didn’t happen. Of course though, that goes for every single other minuscule event on earth though.

The photo of the lobby of the north tower after the South tower collapse, I found that in like July. I think about it. Like the people walking above the lobby as you can see in Jules Naduet footage. Were they all killed, Micheal judge did. In that photo, is there bodies we can't see above the lobby. Alot of questions about it. I also think about the bodies on the side where the people are in the footage. There is a video online available that shows the red splatter and bodies in like 360-480p. How many people have seen the footage of the close up stuff of that before it vanished off the internet. Wonder if it would ever resurface. Even though it's not nice thing to see

6:26 yup that is the stairwell and there was almost certainly people alive still when that photo was taken. And then when it collapsed they all died except those that rescued Josephine in stairwell B. It is why the firefighter bodies and their sirens were found relatively near the top of the pile and their sirens could be heard.

There have been people survive apartment collapses (I believe especially the Miami one a couple years ago) where they were on the top and road it down.. but they were obviously really injured and the towers were 10 times taller. I think it could’ve been possible but it’d be a miracle and a one in a billion chance that someone ended up in the right place the not die in the collapse.

It's news to me that KZbin has a problem with 911 videos and I'm shocked by that. I think most Americans who were alive when this happened would agree that this event, the people that died, all the EMTs, firefighters, police ect that ran toward the danger trying to save people and lost their lives trying to help people deserve to be remembered, deserve to have what was done to them be remembered and deserve our respect. All the photos and videos of this tragic day are a precious part of American history.

Jesus H Christ - you are the ONLY comment apart from mine!!! So glad you've made it. Yes, someone did cut it - but not as part of any conspiracy - that cut was made in the mill that produced the steel - it's barely had a welder anywhere near it!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUSLY STUPID method of construction! Little better than bits stood on top of one another. I advise EVERYONE to go look at some proper welders working on thick steel plate and see how it SHOULD have been done. Then form your own opinion about Conspiracy and why none of those 400 NIST experts haven't pointed it out.

I remember seeing people plummet through the roof of that stage, and several other holes in the roof where others had gone through it.. it was this guy filming with his girlfriend in a hotel opposite.. although he didn't film anyone actually hitting the concrete below, you saw lots of people falling, and he did pan around on the ground, where we got the image of what looked like clothing/suits scattered around on the ground surrounded by red. The bodies were completely obliterated it really just looked like clothing on the ground

This is one of the most important events that's happened in America in my lifetime and it changed the course for our country and the world.
