I'm really sorry to hear about the results. Star craft is such an insanely hard and unforgiving game so I never really feel like tournament results are a great representation of true skill (at least, not any one individual tournament). I'm sure you actually did improve a huge amount so it's not like that time is wasted. Know that probably doesn't help at all though since it's your career and livelihood though :( I do feel like it's star craft is becoming a game that really seems hard for pro players these days. Toss is horribly unbalanced and then it feels like the guys at the true top top like serral are still getting better and so even if u have a good run, there's not a lot of hope to make it all the way. Love your content and your ability to stay positive through all this and wish you the best on the next season and your endeavors in other games!

usually in Chess, when people wanna improve, they get a strong Grandmaster coach. i assume all the koreans have coaches idk how hard is it to find a good coach in Starcraft but like 2-3 times a week, having someone to review your games he can notice stuff that players usually don't notice aswell as research other enemies and give you tips. and help Mentality wise. you mentioned something about feeling down in the 2nd game it could have been a mental thing , the pressure getting to you. thus lowering your performance overall you did mention playing "many ladder games" and its not necessarily the right way to improve usually need more specified training and couple Bo3 matches organized against the top players participating in MORE tournaments during the year can give you confidance and get you "in shape" and basically prepare you better for the big thing

That's devastating news indeed :( I wouldn't worry about the next ESports World Cup too much, even if there wasn't ESL circuit... considering how supportive they were of SC2, there is a very high chance they'll include it next year as well no matter what may happen.

FWIW, doesn't matter how well you perform in tournaments, what game you're playing, how often you upload, etc, I'll watch whatever content you make. You could make "StarCraft 2 Pro Plays Chess" and I'd watch it. I'm not here for your results, I'm here for *you*. Hang in there.

At the highest skill level of any competitive sport, the players are so good that the winner can be whoever wakes up on the right side of the bed that morning. It’s a bummer you didn’t make it out of the first round after all the prep. Keep it up along with the amazing KZbin and streaming content!

Don't worry Grzegorz, there are still a few ways to fulfill yourself. One of them is to keep doing creative shows in SC1/SC2. Maybe you should spend less time on cannons. It might also be a good idea to ask ChatGPT for strategic advice.

Damn this games professional scene seems unattainable. You seem very skilled, level headed, and hard working. My advice which means nothing, get a coach, I wouldn’t quit or slow down when stormgate comes out. Compete as much as possible. Time under the gun is most important. I’ll pray for you brother. Time and effort I believe are always rewarded. Sometimes it’s delayed for a greater purpose. Be well

In any sports anyone can be beaten on any given day, and it sucks when you happen to be on the bad side of it. It’s just part of it, but I have no doubt you’ll get the bounce back in your step and kick some !$$ next time!

Pozdrawiam

you only lose when you give up. winning doesn't teach you much. you learn the most when you lose. not just game strategy but the mental. learning the mental is a big part of the game. and picking yourself back up is a big part of life.

So u practiced super hard for a month. Good. Now ask u r self a question: for qualifying to million dollar tournament .. is it enough? Maybe u should practice super hard all year long. Then u will see the results. Practice all year long as a million dollar tournament should be like every month. Fingers crossed.
