I love how birds just chill on hippos. These are two animals (along with gators) that scare the living piss out of me. I hope I never encounter one in the wild.

That Lion's jaw that was hanging in the intro was insane and looked very painful!
@stefanlaskowski66602 жыл бұрын
It was fatal. An animal cannot eat without a working jaw, so that lion died slowly of starvation.

It is painful, with 15 i broke my Jaw in a motorcyclecrash plus i lost alot of my frontteeth, at least we had good healthcare back then and they fixed it, i took 6 weeks until i could eat again

Great documentary! But why is it titled ‘The dark side’, there wasn’t anything shocking revealed. What I found insane though, was other crocs coming to snap up and eat the baby crocs while the mother croc is trying to gather the newly hatched baby crocs into her jaws.
@fukkitful2 жыл бұрын
Yeah that was very fucked up. I believe a few snake species are the only other reptile with maternal instincts but it only last about 2 weeks. After that they're own their own. While a Croc's maternal instincts usually last 2 years.

Not sure why they always say that . . In all my years I've never heard of a croc getting "snapped in half"
@GrassPossum2 жыл бұрын
Bitten in half actually. If you're back is broken and most of what holds the two halves together is torn asunder, it's close enough.

No....once when I was hunting crocs in the Zambezi, one got too close to me and I snapped it in half with one bite !
