3:13 This is from the Danish Railway museum in Odense. I live nearby, Thomas is accompanied by a couple of famous Danish trains. The big silver one was our old high speed trains Class "Ma" nicknamed the silver arrow (søvlpilen) The orange light shunter between Thomas and the Silver arrow is Tractor 57 made famous when it had a major role in the heist comedy "Olsenbanden på Sporet" where it was used to steal an armored boxcar containing gold.

Anyhoo, at The Train Shed (part of Vicary's Winery at Luddenham) there is a gordon so horrifyingly hideous, I cannot express it enough. They took delicious model series gordon, said nah he’s too good looking, n decided this thing wouldn’t scare anyone. He makes every engine in this video look adorable. He’s THAT bad.

Tbh, Misty Island Rescue was good at the end. Because (going off of memory) if you watch any Thomas episodes and movies that came out after Magic Railroad and before Misty Island, you'll see no sign of Diesel 10. But he appears once more at the end of Misty Island. So the movie may have bad moments at times, that ending is a good moment. Bringing back a character feared by the engines

They used to hold Day out with Thomas events, where They would borrow a Thomas plus Some faces from Wales (presumibly the llangollen railway since its the same engine). Its further backed up by the fact that the diesel has the DSB logo on it which is the danish State railway Company Logo. Sadly They no longer hold the events because of brexit

when you mentioned misty island i remembered how much i enjoyed it. but know i have more questions about that movie now that i remember it. like why was the island abandon, how did bash dash ferdinand's driver survive if theve been on a island for who knows how long and why didnt they use any rescue acquirement or radio for help, why werent those three taken off the island before it was abandoned,why do the trio look more like mine trains if there supposed to be lumber trains, and how did they not die from smoke in such a tiny cave?!

2:30 - That engine is a New Zealand Railways 'WAB' class 4-6-4 tank, and having seen her myself I can confirm she looks much better without that horrifying face. Also, the imitation Rusty at 5:13 is another New Zealand locomotive. She's a tiny Ruston shunter at the Glenbrook Vintage Railway, and she's now in a much nicer orange and green livery without the weird face. 6:05 ~ Wrong, that's yet another NZR locomotive. Specifically DBR 1295 at the GVR. Recently I saw her running at a Christmas Lights event, and incidentally I've never understood why their Thomas faces always looked so cursed.
