It’s one of the fastest growing countries in the world, with an average growth rate of almost 5 percent per year since 2000 and an expected GDP growth rate of 4.8% in 2023. That’s quite impressive, right? But there’s a catch. Behind this amazing growth, there are some serious problems that many people don’t see or talk about. Problems like corruption, inequality, environmental damage and human rights abuse.

As a indonesian i can just tell that when in the morning i see people just burning trash in the nerby forest and at where im at i breath alot of smoke sometimes and it is getting hotter with less rain sometimes there won't even be rain for a whole day hope indonesia can find the right path but also can do something to help the world like using more solar pannels then using factories cause that can solve some of the global warming and for the water pollution just try to make at least 80% or 60% of indonesias population to recycle and for poverty who knows maybe one day the top 4 richest men in indonesia can help it wish that my country will be able to solve this and start playing their cards correctly from now

Indonesia has a lot of opportunity, especially if your parents are friends with the government 😂 But it's also possible for talented people to move to Bali, or any major city and make a life. Indonesia has the highest standard of living in SE Asia (I've been to 36 countries on a budget and indonesia is offers the best standard of living). Some people earn as little as $50/ month and some $30 million/ month but everyone can go to the beach and get a bowl of noodles or fried rice for 1, and everyone can afford gas for their motorbike, because Indonesia has oil. 😊

it's funny because car is not the sign of social status in western countries for example USA, cars is so cheap there that poor people live in cars because they can't afford settlement but they can afford cars, in indonesia poor people tend to live in slums and huts they dont even have bicycle

Problem yang paling utama dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan di indonesia adalah praktik2 korupsi yang masif di kalangan pejabat ,birokrat dan parlemen..juga d kalangan yudikatif seperti kepolisian,kejaksaan dan kehakiman..mereka para oknum ini melakukan korupsi secara berjamaah dan dengan nilai yang sangat masif..ini fakta yang di ketahui seluruh lapisan masyarakat indonesia.ikorupsi itulah yang menghambat pertumbuhan ekonomi negara dan kesejahteraan rakyatnya..undang-undang pemberantasan korupsi dan penyitaan aset2 koruptor sulit di terbitkan karena badan legislatif yang mengesahkannya juga di isi para koruptor.

This is why im not proud to be Indonesian. I have to forcefully set up the flag in front of the house at Independence Day but in reality i just do it so that i won't get bad names or crimes in here. Power outage always happening here and they never tell you when they plan to do it. It causes many electronics own by civilians in their home broken. The power outage is so bad that it could last for days or weeks. After all that, the government can only say "sorry" if there's something wrong happened but not solving the problem. Yet they keep wanting you to pay your bills and taxes.
