Isla Mujeres is the most famous island in Mexico's Riviera Maya. It is very close to Cancun and is well known for it's white sand beaches, nature and palm trees. In short, this Mexican Caribbean island has emerged as the ultimate paradise destination.
In this video you are going to see the other side of Isla Mujeres! It was a day that I'll never forget!!

These guys are so full of positivity and goodness in their hearts that they don't easily get tired what so ever, after a herculean day at work they still visit their neighbors and friends, drink and have a good time then return home to their wives and children with a happy smile on their face and no sign of weariness at all . . . I hope the government would realize how lucky it is to have such citizens in its country . . .If they are educated and provided some form of governmental aid, they have the potential to push the economy of their country to great heights.

I used to travel to Isla Mujeres in the mid 90"s you should have taken the local bus up to the Noth end where a lot of the locals lived. I used to go with the fishermen to a protected bird sanctuary on an small island about 5 miles from Isla Mujeres that had about 8 shacks licensed by Mexican govt one for each captian. We would stay there a few days as long as the ice we had catching fish and lobsters. It was a racket though as it didn't matter how much they caught as the owners of the fishery and gas stations would rais or lower prices arbitrarily never alowing the fishermen to really get ahead. Nicest people ever as long as you are willing to chip in and do as the locals do.

So, respect for the hard working people but one reason you can play your console games is because there were so many improvements and inventions that made life easier in Europe. Renaissance and all that. For example, watching them carrying the wood I was wondering why they didn't transport it by water. And then they could do many logs at a time.

He just thnnks he is special, because he travels alternatively and on a low-budget, when in reality most people in their 20s do that too. However, those who stay in **** hotels and take private transportation, eat at restaurants and etc are the ones who contribute to the local businesses the most. And I say it from personal experience as someone who travels like Tmmy, knowing how low on expenses I try to be, so I can visit more places. Nothing special in it, we just dont record it.

Its a common thing for a spoiled youngster like u probably. I had to imigrate in 3 different countries- learn 2 extra languages and work any job possible to save some money to do these trips. And im recording too! Which is a job. U are the basic one here my friend and your friend. Im way different
@mitmit999
@mitmit999 3 ай бұрын
@@TimmyKarter Sorrry, but you are not different for recording (and the wide choice of travel vlogs available here are a proof). Anyway, I wasn't necessarily attacking you for you to go in defense mode, since I actually enjoy watching the videos. Also, me, "the spoiled youngster", is 32 and it wasn't until recently that I had also saved enough to afford a bit of low-budget traveling, as someone who is from Bulgaria. I know for a fact I don't contribute to the locals as much as as someone who likes to splurge on trips, which was my whole point.
