This track depicts the battle between the Ka-Tet and the giant bear-guardian Shardik.

I am 300 pages away from finishing the dark tower. Just watched the trailer for the film, then came upon this. Fuck yeah! This stuff is great, kudos.

@@MooseOnTheLoose99 Why though? Why are you all expecting an experience true to the book that manages to cram 8 books into 1 movie? They did amazing for what they did. Book fans gotta let go of these attitudes or one franchise after the other is going to dust. It wasnt Eragon, it was objectively a really good movie with really good CGI and story.

@@horsthooden4600 When it came out, I was sort of expecting "The Gunslinger". Maybe they would have made sequels. Idk. The way King explains the movie in an interview made a lot of sense. He said it was basically going to be a mashup to get people interested in the books again.

I enjoy the speed. It conjures the image of a giant fucking bear tearing through a bunch of trees to attack Eddie. I think a slower speed would have been appropriate for maybe the first few seconds of the song, but not throughout..

Out of all of your great work I find this theme somewhat unfitting. It's a great track, it's just when I think of Shardik as described by King, I think of an ancient relic with powerful, confused movement. Something a little bit slower and dramatic maybe? There is also an element of sadness. The arp continuation is a great choice, I associate Russia with a bear, and it has a Korobushka esque feel to it. Great work, just some feedback.
