is it so hard for some people to grasp that marriage is no longer a necessity for couples? Marriage is merely administrative & the process of divorce can be quite complicated, costly, & time-consuming. South Korea also has some peculiar norms regarding love relationships. In this situation, many would choose to keep things private, and honestly, it doesn't matter if he is gay. What we care about is enjoying his films. Some of us aren't obsessive fans or sasaeng. We have a healthy normal life & we are not delusional. We won't die if a celebrity has a relationship, gets married or admits they are gay.

Didn't fit the male beauty standard for film but was clearly still attractive enough in the early days to be a model... sounds about right. His face isn't "perfect" but I think people actually prefer that in a person as looking like an AI-generated statue isn't truly attractive. Having a face that is a little unique in some way is an assett for actors, it helps with expression and personality in bringing a character to life. "Perfect" is boring; Gong Yoo's face is captivating. He has also gotten hotter with age- some actors are hotter when they're younger, but he is one of those "fine wine" types.

There was a very old variety show in Korea that Gong Yoo was in, he was only starting in business then and the show revolve around old flames, and he participated in the show so he could finally propose to his first love which he missed to do when they were still at school bec he was too shy he said. , unfortunately his first love already had Bf at the time, and you can tell he really liked the girl but it wasn't meant to be.
