Genshin went through a filler patch. Nobody is "demoralized", there is just nothing to do at the moment. Also, never watch tectone, for anything. The guy literally makes his living off of trashing Genshin, and I bet when WW releases, he will trash HSR as well (he is a member of OTK after all). Regardless, don't take anyone else's opinions into account on how you feel about a game.

My personal opinion is the game is supposed to be more enjoyed as a story-game, rather than a game that you would spend hours grinding for like other games such as Honkai Star Rail or MMORPGs. HOWEVER, the way the game has been made with the relic system etc allows players to grind and make their characters the best they can be IF THEY WANT TOO. So the experience is more dependant on the individual player than the community overall. Love to hear opinions!

Yea I would not use tectone as a measuring stick, he is a rage baiter and always has been. He always joins a fandom, plays for a bit and then tries to generate hate and controversy for views. He has done this with every single fandom he has been in before GI and will continue to do so in the future, its what makes his channel as succesfoll as it is.

So I know someone probably already answered, but to help out with some of your questions here: Clervie and Peruere (Arlecchino) grew up together as best friends, and when Peruere asks: "Do mothers usually argue with their daughters" is referencing the fact that Clervie is the previous Knave's ("Mother") biological daughter, which if you look at the Lumiduece bell pendant, the way "Mother" talks about the flower at the end, and Peruere looking at the flower during their fight is referencing back to Clervie. The way "Mother" talks about the flower she's holding before they fight, means that she should have killed her own daughter a long time ago because of how innocent and With the death of Clervie, neither of them wanted to fight, but "Mother" forced them to via house of the hearth rules, to which (I think and is the most likely option) Clervie ended up killing herself via her own sword then hugged Peruere which is the "I'm sorry..." and the "...Thank you" is for them being best friends when her bio mother was ruthless and ab*sive. "Mother was evil the whole time and is this why she calls herself father": Yep. She doesn't want the kids to feel the "warm loving embrace of a mother" so thats why she's a strict and unfeeling Father, so at that point, instead of the kids being emotionally manipulated by a "Mother" the worst thing they have to lose when the time comes is a "strict and unfeeling Father". Scaramouche was among the first to be recruited by the Fatui as a Harbinger through Dotore's manipulation "I keep forgetting the name of that one" That is Il Capitano I believe he's probably number 5 or 6 of the harbingers but we will find out when Natlan releases as we are told in game that he is currently there But yeah, avoiding discussing the drama with the rewards and a certain egg based creator, towards the start of Fontaine, I was like, ok I'm probably gonna skip certain characters if they release, so I can focus on a few, and Arlecchino was one of them, but watching both this and the Teaser (Which I'm def watching your reaction to after posting this comment), as well as Hoyo-MIX releasing Emberfire (The theme in the background of the no so short short lol) I will definitely be pulling for her as I have her guaranteed and have enough wishes from 25 pity to get her C0.

Genshin is lagging horribly in rewards and weapons. Arlechino is honestly the only reason I'm fighting to try and play at all but after she drops and if I get her I don't know really how often I'll play after that

Sounds like you should be playing way more games if the lack of rewards and weapons is getting to you. It's not normal. Take a break. Tears of the Kingdom is right there if you want weapon variety.
