Some more info on the first one: Johnathan already had a feeling that Scott liked him due to unusual advances previous to the show, and he only agreed to come on the show as long as the secret person wasn’t Scott, but the producers lied, hence Johnathan saying “you lied to me.” After the show, Johnathan was constantly harassed by Scott despite asking him to stop. Not saying it justifies murder, but just some more info on what drove him to do it

A correction about the Wetten Das incident. The guy is just a contestant, the "mother" is not his mother it's just one of the cohosts of the show, Michelle Hunziker. So the story was dramatized a little bit adding this "mother watches son almost die". Still terrible but that story was just made up by the guy that made the video.
