well, fuck! this is my next purchase. im running through a Bergantino super pre through an Orange 35w right now and it sounds like hot pressed shit without the Super... finally a combo that will let me really use my dingwall

Is it capable of any other tones, or is it a one trick pony? Not really into the modern metal tone, so dont use it a lot. When i try it dounds like smsshing two old trashcan lids together. You've got great skills so not a dig at you or your passionate style, just not "my" sound. Can it do anything else tonally? Like a Tony Franklin fretless growl, or an old school rock tone, thick and greasy?

I don't recommend these. I work at a shop that got two of them. They worked for three months then the first one quit working. Then a week later, the other one went out. That can't be a coincidence.
