What I appreciate is that the Disneyland/Disney World Haunted Mansion’s do not need, nor rely on, ‘scare’ actors. The animatronics alone, tells the stories. ‘The Darkness’ could easily go down the same path.

Another awesome Grimm adventure!! Every one of Jessica’s screams made me jump!! The Disneyland Haunted Mansion is lightweight compared to The Darkness!! What you really needed is a large group of young teen girls to accompany you guys… their terrified screams would show just how much that place affects people who haven’t yet seen decades worth of horror movies, haunted castles, and cemeteries!! The ghost houses I’ve been in are dialed way down because of the young children that parents usually bring along… but this place is almost adult level entertainment because the fright level is 10 out of 10!!!

12:30 The laser installation emulating moving through a dirty pond was most impressive to me actually. It looks cool and disables you seeing your lower body, so you don't know what is going on "under the water surface". They could emulate a water monster by having moving feathers touching your legs and at some spots let its head suddenly pop out from under. They should expand on this effect, it has a lot of potential.

Born and raised in STL. The Darkness is probably the place I look forward to going the most every year. As soon as October is over, I'm already planning for next October and all of the haunted attractions. I highly recommend anyone planning on going to take your time and just take it all in. It's okay to let people go past if you're going a little too slow. There's so much to see that you could probably go 10 times and not catch it all, and they add a little something every year! Never gets old :)

Halloween is hands down my favorite season. I played “spook house” as early as June and July when I was preschool age just not wanting to wait until October. I still love a good scare and I’m retirement age now!!

I feel like they kept their good, scary stuff towards the end. A huge place filled with very awesome animatronics that seemed like got a bit too close at times but still great effects. It definitely does not seem like they even need actors because it is super cool on its own. Thank you for the tour :)

I just love your videos. Back in the 1990s, I went to a school to learn to become a movie camera technician. My life took me in a different direction. You're very good with the camera, one of the secrets is moving very slowly and another secret is you have to convince yourself that you are the audience so the camera are their eyes, congratulations.
