I am a fairly successful person in more forms than a monetary one. Most of my life felt unwanted , unappreciated, unsupported, alone and a failure! I am 31 and I have been grinding for a long time now, most of my life in fact. From the time I was a young boy until now has been one big grind after another and there are days where I feel as though I just can't grind anymore. The thing that has kept me going in that I know somewhere deep inside I have something .... I am searching for it and I know I will find it! If I can do it so can you. If you're sitting by yourself , sad , alone , in the darkness and unappreciated , just know that there is , was and will be people just like you and that you are not alone ! You will be just fine.

2 years later. I read this and wonder... What is that feeling, what is that sensation you must have? How is it you can be concerned with being unappreciated or unwanted. Unsupported? What would you even do with support, What IS that anyway? I don't really have advice for you, exactly... conquer yourself, once your content in a space by yourself only then will these "requirements" for happiness evaporate. Love and cherishing another is a wonderful thing but by no means a requirements for YOUR mental well being, it's simply adding the enjoyment of life. In my life I am the light in the void, I am happy and fulfilled with myself. I do not concern myself with the attention or thoughts of others, what are they but blind delicate flickers in a flock of wanting, while I am the radiance of my own life. Make no mistake, the flickers for whom I will support and care for but need nothing in return. Brave is the darkness to approach me, in this sea of human incapability. I take the path of least resistance, I practice discipline as it is the foundation of strength and I do not concern myself with the options of the weak or simple, and many they are, lol. What, must it feel like, I wonder...?

Sub to me because why not The human brain interprets the energy and momentum you get through “depression” and “anger” on the same level as if you were “happy” and “outgoing.” Most people achieve things and use depression/anger as their momentum expecting to feel “happy” once they accomplish it. But, in reality you don’t and definitely will not. So answer my question, would you rather use happiness as momentum or anger? Don’t be blind and face your shadow. Be honest now.

Update 4 I think. I've gotten less than 3 hours of sleep for the past 18 days. I truly hope this is my last semester at UF. I just received 8 grand back from the school for my scholarships finally, and I got a sponsor for my first app to drop. I'm moving to Wisconsin to work for a chemical company as a process engineer for the summer to save money for my generator. The company gave me CAD on my computer, so I made a more "professional" drawing for the shop to build. Finally, after 3 years of planning, 10 months of depression, and countless hours of missed sleep, it has begun. I love chemical engineering, but I can do infinitely more with my own independent research. While yeah sure, it's more logical to just stay three more semesters, ride out my full ride, graduate and then save money in a safe job, but I fear to wake one day look around and have lost my flame to change the world as so many robotic engineers do. They graduate, say "oh I'll rest for a little while and save some money" and then become complacent, lose their love of science, and become distracted with a girl, have kids, and then pass away with a belief that idealism is a faulty sense of reality, and continue the shitty cycle to their kids. I just have to survive 5 more days, which is easier said than done since I've consumed over 48 energy drinks in the past 18 days to ensure that I drop out as the best. Now, I must get back to my studies. Your videos are great, and I basically play them every morning when I get out of bed with only 3 hours of sleep.
