Great review Jordan. I loved monkey island, so for me the lack of voice acting and "no faces" makes no real difference to me. As usual, a lovely,, detailed review. Great job!

I guess I've been spoilt in my point n click experiences. When I first experienced them, they all had voice acting by that point. And I first play Secret of Monkey Island with the remake which added the excellent voices. It feels like a regression to me.

I find it peculiar, with the joy-cons having motion control, why point and click games like this on the Switch, haven't gotten the Wii treatment instead of having to use the analog stick.

I wish more of these P&C adventures would come to consoles. I grew up on them with early Amiga/PC gaming and they're still going strong (if niche) on PC, IMO. Wadjet Eye alone has put out a bunch of great ones in the 2010's.

I have never really delved into these types of mystery games before, but I love pixel art and stories about the supernatural. Also, I quite like the missing faces for some reason, can't really put my finger on why though.

According to How Long to Beat... this is only a 3 hour game.

It depends of the price and the quality. Witcher could be 100 hours and I didn't finished it.

I'd say 3 hours if you don't get stuck, but yeah I think 3 hours is okay for the price.
