Hello I’m new to nerf and this gonna be my first real mod. I noticed stores that sell the brass barrels already prepped have 10” brass because of barrel drag. I also read that if you use an upgraded spring a 12” might be better do you have any idea what would be better

Hey man great video!! Just wanted to tell you I really like your channel. Last month I turned 40 and my buddy got me a Nerf Shockwave to remind me to have fun in my old age. That’s how I found your channel. Yesterday I took my first baby step into the hobby and picked up a Stryker and today I just ordered the mod kit off of FPS!! My wife is happy with that move since I wanted to get a Lynx or Caliburn first!! Needless to say, I’m excited to mess around with it. I’ve always been a tinkerer at heart and this kind of stuff is right up my alley. Keep up the good work bro!!

These are some pretty cool mods! I love the skinny pusher and the angled sights informed by the end of the muzzle. I'm not such a fan of the vertical grip, but I think the angled and "hooked" one you made for the Nexus would look really good on this. Thanks for the great video LordDracobwebhead! 🧡💜

Your correct the muzzle piece has a wall on the barrel side that nests the barrel and that muzzle adaptor accepts the moderator piece that simply pressure fits inside

Dude this kit is awesome!! And please do plug away for your webstore, it has never disappointed. I wonder if there is a front end piece that kinda matches the sharp, blade runner rifle look your sights create, kind of a flat suppressor(osprey?)/muzzlebreak with a slash back end. Oh, could call it a slash muzzle.

It would be so cool if you could make a foregrip attachment that connects like yours that lets you use a side bolt instead! I have been trying to find one I could operate that way and there just isn't any good (modable) blasters like that. My left arm is not strong enough for priming so I need to be able to fire while against my shoulder and prime with my trigger arm (like a sniper would)

With the more low profile modern butt stock I can keep the suppressor front barrel on for accuracy after changing the stock spring to the Worker Nexus Pro upgrade spring they make. Hitting 178 to 182 FPS consistently and accurately out to 30-40 feet like performs with nice scar barrel on it. 170-180 FPS is my favorite sweet spot now after thorough testing of different springs and barrels. I wouldn't go any higher with their stock internals and priming grip I can't help but really want to upgradey new Striker with whatever metal parts I could use from the Worker Nexus Pro upraded metal internal kits to really raise its capabilities to insanely pro, match level standard functioning.

I added a spring spacer in my max stryker and it shoots another 30 ft but im not sure if your barrel can handle a spacer and a more powerful spring. But i don't think my barrel can handle the upgraded spring and the spacer so that is why I haven't bought the spring yet.

I've recently moded my Stryker and Nexus but now I'm getting a problem where when I fire them some of the darts get straight cuts on them causing those ones to stop in the barrel. The other darts fire perfectly fine but I do notice a score imprint on where they would have cut open. Did you have this complication too and if so do you know what could be the issue?

great video, but you didnt show how you removed the plunger pin. Try as i might, i CANNOT get the pin out to change the plunger. I've tried hammering another pin to get it out, nothing. How do you get the pin out?

I think adding alot of black parts to it makes it look more like a firearm. This blaster needs nothing but more talons (skinny pusher might be nice) & i'd rather spend another $50 to get another one rather than a slight performance increase & making it look more milspec js. If you play in a private area and you want that aesthetic maybe this is for you

Have been wondering if this blaster could used for our social games (where lots of folks bring nerf brand blasters) by swapping out to a softer spring and sticking a scar barrel on the front. By bringing down the fps and adding spin with the scar I could use the piles of dirt cheap elite type darts that everyone else will be using. The stronger spring can be put back in for more serious games. 😊 Any thoughts folks?
