Looks amazing. Fireproof glass behind the eyes will allow the smoke to only come out of the chimney. I love the build.

Συγχαρητήρια! Εξαιρετική κατασκευή, ευφάνταστη και άρτια στην υλοποίηση. Αναρωτιέμαι αν σε δυσκολεύει στο ψήσιμο η έλλειψη ρυθμιστικού για τον αέρα. Υποψιάζομαι πως όταν κλείνεις το καπάκι θα δημιουργείται έντονη κυκλοφορία αέρα, τα ξύλα θα χωνεύουν πολύ γρήγορα και η θερμοκρασία θα ανεβαίνει απότομα. Τι έδειξε η εμπειρία χρήσης; Και πάλι συγχαρητήρια! ---- Congratulations! Superb build, imaginative and perfectly realized. I wonder whether the lack of an air regulation system makes the bbq any harder. I believe that once the lid is shut the air circulation gets intense, the wood gets burnt up fast and the temperature rises uncontrolably. Any feedback from use? Again...congratulations!!

Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ για τα καλά σου λόγια! Η ψησταριά λειτουργεί μια χαρά. Δεν υπάρχει ρυθμιστής του αέρα αλλά αντ'αυτού χρησιμοποιώ την πόρτα της μάσκας του Vader. Το μοναδικό ελάττωμα είναι ότι η σχάρα βρίσκεται σε μεγαλύτερη απόσταση από ότι θα ήθελα από τα κάρβουνα αλλά κατασκευαστικά δυστυχώς δεν μπορούσα να την μειώσω περισσότερο... Αργεί λίγο περισσότερο στο ψήσιμο αλλά δεν κινδυνεύεις να κάψεις τα κρέατα! Έτσι και αλλιώς δεν είναι η ψησταριά που θα χρησιμοποιώ συνεχώς όταν θέλω να ψήσω. Την έχω και για διακοσμητικό στοιχείο. 😊

Wondering how you control the heat without a damper? Maybe have a way to elevate the wood and put a damper under it and close off the nose and eyes. Need to make this a precision grill. Great job!

Thank you very much for your comments! Although I don't have a damper instead I use the door on the face of Darth as a damper. I also made a metal tray that I put inside and elevates the charcoals and the fire. 😊👍

As an addition, how about a piece cut out of the chin, a couple of rails and then a flat sheet of steel (that can't come off the rails) the steel sheet uses the chin piece as a door (add a handle) The heat in there would radiate from above and fill the lower chamber making it nice and hot. This could be used as a pizza oven employing the fiercer heat to cook from above from the plate holding the coals. Great BBQ, look forward to R2D2 and the TIE fighter.

hello yes I did long time ago. But yes. My son's idea for his smoker has a combustion chamber extra attached to one side of the barrel. I went ahead and made this burning compartment of three car rings. and painted all inside and out. that's why I ask you if you had painted yours. I'm just afraid it will catch fire 🔥 the paint inside

There was no chicken on this menu... Beef for the Souvlaki, marinated Pork chops and then vegetable Souvlaki. We don't marinate the beef or pork when we make Souvlaki in Greece. Just salt and pepper and when the meat is ready oregano and lemon and little olive oil.
