Very good ballad I had not heard in about fifty years since I forgot its name. It is one of those slow nice ones like "when" "I am left without you" "crying over you" and "because". Nice to hear again.

One of the cinema oriented specialty productions associated with Clark's expansionesque ventures into the visual mediums, and featured as an addition to "Hold On" featuring cameos by Richard Chamberlain and Lulu

Dave Clark had nothing to do with the beautiful ballads or ANY of the DC5 songs. He demanded songwriting credits because that's what greedy bastards do.

We where the opening band for The Dave Clark 5 at a Boston Garden concert in 1966. We where called The Kastawys. Mike and all the guy's in the band where gentlemen in every respect of the word. We had a wonderful and memorable night entertaining the 27,000 or so fans. Truly the good old days.
@RickZepp5 жыл бұрын
Frank, did you stick around to catch the DC5's set? Just wondering how bad of a drummer Dave Clark actually is. I've read where some DC5 concerts "featured" another drummer behind the curtain to hide Clark's inept drumming skills. Or maybe that was you playing drums for Clark?
@fabiodean57893 жыл бұрын
It has been reported in the DC5's touring days that the shows were excellent and real live
@z5123453 жыл бұрын
@@RickZepp No Rick it wasn't me although I could have filled right in with no problem, because we covered many of their song. Dave had a studio drummer who played on all their recordings. He had to make the beat and fills easy enough for Dave to play live. He had recently passed away, I forgot his name. While they where playing I ran up behind them and had a birds eye view of them. I was bumbed to see that Dave hardly ever used his bass drum. Dave was not a good drummer, but Dave was the manager and owner of the band. All the members where Dave's employees.He had a flair for fashion and the look they had. Dave was the head honcho, a very smart and clever guy.
