Goodness me, have people forgotten what fiction is? It doesn't have to be plausible, just enjoyable. I enjoyed it

Not too bad for an AI story. But the "Starfire" sword was a little ridiculous. A true swordmaster wouldn't need gimmicks because true mastery is about skill. No AI, no power armor, and no enhancement. Just skill.

JUST ONE QUESTION: .. Eh .. Wasn't this fight to the death? .. AAAAND .. I would've included the next dialogue in the final scenes of this story .. Grandmaster Calix Vor: "You humans are going to be INSUFFERABLE about this victory, aren't you?" Jack Blackwood just grinned and said " Oh absolutely .. we're going to be COMPLETELY UNBEARABLE .. So much so that here's an example ..Have you ever heard of or seen the classic 1981 movie titled "Miracle On Ice" or the 2004 movie titled simply as "Miracle"? And if you're not aware, both movies are about the US Men's Ice Hockey Team's incredible victory over the Soviet Union in the 1980 Winter Olympics ..Yeah it's gonna be something like that .. I'm gonna make a fortune with my personal biography, book series and online training courses, exclusives anticipated well paid interviews pushing my books and online training courses, then I'll make another ton of cash from movie rights and subsequent exclusive Netflix, Apple+ HBO series as well as all out marketing campaigns that'll include action figures with matching Anime movie series for the kids .. Yeah, we're gonna rub your alien noses in it pretty good for the better part of the next millennia ..."

I'm not familiar with this channel so I don't know how it is voiced, but if this is AI it sounds like the best AI out there. Of course, the fighting goes full edgelord, but I guess there's not helping that if they want to draw out a fight so that the story can be fully told.

The story starts out by telling us jack had chosen to use his steel sword, then in the arena everyone acts surprised he chose a steel sword, c'mon man, give us a break. He assumes the human will overcompensate in his weapon choice, then Vor proceeds to overcompensate..must be a Bidenite. Vor has a simple steel backup blade, one that felt familiar? He relied on tech for his "super sword" for a couple of centuries. That's a stretch to think he was comfortable with a simple blade. Why the descriptive embellishment of the star blade (are all his swords forged in a dying star)? That's pure overcompensation in writing.
@sandman68498 күн бұрын
Naww, definitely a MAGAt overcompensating, as usual.

This was a better story! I liked it! However, and for whatever reason, it suffers from an all too familiar problem. NOBODY proof read/listened to the "DOT" audio/text; merely did a sloppy amateur publication. It must be kids grabbing stories from elsewhere just in a hurry to take credit.

And in true irony....this story posts when I'm working in the armory for a regional fencing event!
@kenseajr6 күн бұрын
you are correct however if I followed the story correctly they were NOT fencing. This was a true sword fight. From the way I read the story the human was using some form of single edge long sword. when sword fighting there will be times where you may block direct blade to blade. While dodging or parrying are ideal, there are times where blade to blade is the option.

wtf I just read this same story just the character names were changed as is the name of the sword. The human here is male . It’s either a grift or pure plagiarism. And it’s not just this story it’s like ten of them.
@diGritz1Күн бұрын
Meh.... Kinda disappointing. The ridiculous comparisons of the starfire saber to things like a dying sun had no place in this story. It was insulting to a story as old as human kind. The only reason to put it in is to prop up the story. But honestly it wasn't needed here.
