It would be great. For what they are, I do like State of Decay and The Division, games that are quite similar to The Day Before. But not quite the same with the some of the mechanics, visuals, etc. I'm just glad I'm one of those that did not buy this and is stuck with it.

The Day Before was first revealed in 2021 with a "gameplay" trailer that showed the basic mechanics of the game. The game was originally supposed to be released in June 2022, but was delayed to March 1, 2023 due to a planned switch from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5.@@88balloonsonthewall70

For a game like this, some basic starter gear for when you die is definitely necessary like a handgun and a small backpack (since it is forced PVP). Adding PVE servers might be good but from what I have seen, the game is pretty darn empty so PVE servers would require lots more zombies to not be boring. The game is currently nothing like the trailers suggested so that's a bummer. But I think that this outcome is well within expectations of more realistic people.

@@Judokasting 100%. I'm not good at pvp and normally never touch the stuff. But Hunt is just different and is so well done. It's able to create and maintain suspense throughout using top notch sound and game design and the environment is second to none. Not to mention the fact that Crytek genuinely listens to and cares about its community. Those who hate pvp or never heard of Hunt should give it a genuine chance before writing it off.

very disappointed they don't have melee... brian had a good point on if there were more zombies players would be shooting them alot more than just players. also, the zombies are not intimidating in the slightest. you can outrun them crouched and moving backwards!

Scum started off as PVP only to provide instant content while the devs fleshed the game out, and look at it now. If these devs do the same and add content over time I'll definitely be playing this at some point down the line. Not yet though, purely because I hate PVP.

They must add more zombies to make players take focus off of each other if this is just going to be PvP that will add more to gameplay they have a few good pieces just put it together as it develops. Solo players need some love too as far as content...I'll be watching.

If there were zombi horde players fokus whud be moved from PvP to PvE - bicoues of the zombies and you'll need to kill more zombies,then other players,so i think if dev. Drop variants of zombi ,it wuld be moved from PvP to mach more PvE if you wont to survive idk... Thet is my opinion

This is early access, and it shows. This company needs better public relations. Under-promise when a game is in this state, be uncomfortably transparent with future plans. I appreciate everyone that takes a swing at making open world games, but it's not easy. Right now it feels like the people who make exploits are going to easily outperform the dev team and kill this game.

I like the city, the map is nice. But that's about it. Laggy/buggy, severely lacks content, empty (where dem zombies) and missing features and mechanics that should be in a game like this (voice coms, melee, climbing, going prone, etc.). Hopefully they can fix the issues with active patching but I feel like this game is dead on arrival unfortunately.

Only positive I see so far is graphics look nice, but man newbies are so under-geared, just canon fodder. Not sure how many times you got killed Brian, but it's painful. Also as you said after 24 hours there will be guys fully geared up with top spec stuff and newbies will have no hope. Game needs a crap ton of work.

I personally think the game looks halfway decent. It just needs some fine tweaks. Like more zombies or even mpc running around that you can encounter. Fix the bugs the little bit of glitch I saw in other videos. And make city a little smaller and larger countryside

Is this going to have vehicles too? I think vehicles would be fun... although having big complex maps and places to hide and search is probably more important. But if its all ONLY PVP servers it will bomb after players start grieving other players. Games in the past that I played that had PVP, got old fast because people ... always take it too far.

I didn't think the game was bad at all. More zombies are needed as Brian said. But I hope they stick to regular zombies---George Romero zombies, not these freakish mutant zombies that shoot fire out their butts or some weird crap like out of a comic book. Call me a zombie purist but I like that classic zombies....and hordes, roaming hordes you can maybe hear coming from a mile away that would be great! Also the player v player violence is not so cool. Woodberry is all 'lets join hands around the fire and sing songs cause we're in this together!!' Then out in the wild, some dude pops you for the bag of chips and nail clippers you just scavanged. Bit of a disconnect there. Anyway, great game with awesome potential and great stream Brian!

when they made this game someone thought it was a good idea to do a lot of drugs then do some more and let them be in charge of the pr department, then they thought that went so well they thought lets give drugs to all our devs and teach people in 2023 might as well say 2024 we still cant program a game where button mapping the character m to map only functions 10% of the time but thats a feature not a bug. Im not even complaining atm about the fact they advertised one game and sold me another one in its place pretending this was ready for public testing this should have set in dev for another 8 months before public testing.
