What sets Roger apart is the art. It's just a joy to watch him play. Fabulous, seemingly effortless shots, court awareness, genius play..l could rewatch Roger's every game & probably wish for more. More. Thanks for giving us Roger videos. And more please Wivo.

I’m British but he has always been my favourite player just so elegant and classy with the way he played and understood the game made it look ridiculously easy- I remember playing virtua tennis 3 and always choosing federa as it was pretty much like using a cheat code because he was so good and loved the way he stoked the ball

Arguably the worst season? Did we forget about 2013?? 2014-15 was some of his best tennis prior to the knee surgery, he just couldn't get over the finish line in the slams

0:29 2015 was pretty solid, dare to say even pretty good, close to his best, flawless in Cincinnati beating the top 2 seeds to win and a peak performance against a primed Murray on grass at Wimbledon. With a 63-11 win/loss record, including 15 top ten wins (3 against prime Djokovic), 6 titles, 5 finals (including 2 GS, 2 masters and ATP finals). 2015 was definitely not one of his worst seasons, quite the opposite. His worst seasons were 2013 and 2016 by a long shot.

2015 with 84.51% won was 8th best season for Federer, the worst out of his 85%+ won seasons (1st-95.3% ’05, 2nd-94.8% ‘06, 3rd-92.5% ‘04, 4th-91.5% ‘17, 5th-‘07 88.6%, 6th-‘14 85.9%, 7th-‘12 85.5%)-maybe this is what WivoRN meant? You’re right, ‘15 was one of Djoker’s only 2 90%+ won seasons, so if he wasn’t at his best, Fed would’ve dominated that year more, as we see he was the greatest rival to Djoker that year winning x3!

More than most ATP pros would be thrilled to have Fed's season, but Roger had set the bar so high for himself that '15 was a disappointment. In Melbourne he was eliminated in the 3rd round and beaten in the quarters of the French Open. Most frustrating was his constant struggles vs Djokovic at majors, losing in both the Wimbledon and US Open finals.

Tennis in the art form already existed in 70s and 80s with players like McEnroe, Edberg and Mecir.

His tennis is always an art, since 2003. Before 2010, other players tennis hasn't become boring and monotonous, so it wasn't that obvious yet, despite enjoyable to watch. After 2010, boy, the whole sport went djokvic style, 1000 points is like 1 point, all the damn same thing. Lifeless and dull, then Roger's game truly became the crane among chicken

I never paid much attention to Berdych, but interesting to look back - though he never won a GS, he still beat Federer 6x, Nadal 4x and Djokovic 3x and had over $29mil in winnings.

fedsqaush had lots of success with B players and B tournaments where he won 50 % of his titles on the 250/500 circuit..When it came nadal/djoki Fedsqaush only own 33% of their GS matches and same with 33% in GS finals agaisnt djoki/nadal complete failure!! Fed couldn't even beat nadal once at french and lossed to Djoki 3 times in a row Wimbledon finals on fedsqaush supposed best surface even nadal beat him at wimbledon finals!! Fed was weak mentally, weak backhamd ,didn't have tennis smarts and never evolved his sqaush game but he sure sold lots of running shoes

You know nothing about art, I bet, do you? 😅 I also bet you think Alcaraz is weak because se wants to put some art instead of boringly playing like a machine, chasing trophees 😂 Some people have the privilege to be born without revenge to take against life. They are artistes. I've have and always will stand for Nadal for many reasons, and can't deny Djokovic strength, elasticity and science of court geometry, but of the 3, Federer is with no doubt the artist. If you can't feel that, art is just not for you...

@@oltaoxa-caron8981 I think u know nothing about art because "art is in the eye of the beholder" My comments are stats that are facts and sports winning is all that counts and you should try the pageantry and art channel ...sports is not for u..FED failed against his 2 rivals because his game could not compete and it showded as I mentioned over and over.. FEDSQASUH was weak mentally, weak backhand, weak in tennis smarts and never evolved his sqaush game .. Nadal never lossed at french finals and djoki never lossed and Aussie open fianls..FED LOSSED 4 times on his supposed best surface grass to djoki and nadal in finals..All fed did was chase running shoe/watch sales to all the armcahir tennis players who gobbled up all the marketing

@@canski5646 and you are not an art beholder because your eyes are unable to see beauty beyond numbers and stats. Also you know nothing about tennis history. If you did, you would understand that it's impossible to compare stats if players belong to different eras. Federer is between two eras. Nadal and Djokovic are 100% of the new era. They were trained to beat Federer's game. All eras come to an end. Doesn't mean Roman Empire was weaker than The Holy Roman German Empire. But sorry to bother you with culture. Get back to your numbers and stats where you belong and feel comfortable. Art, history, culture, beaty of any kind is clearly out of your reach

@@canski5646 I honestly agree with you mate. I am sure you know a lot about weakness just because how weak your dick is. It's softness is clearly evincible by your comment. Also, you obviously know a lot about art. Dick softness is usually inherited, and I am sure your father had the same art of having his own wife constantly f*cked by other, huh? At the same time maybe? While he was even watching, right? Trying to get his little weenie hard but, so sad, he couldn't anymore. If you could drop some stats about your mother, that would be greatly appreciated.
