Fall/winter golf here can be a lot fo fun. Add a club, try some unusual strategies and grab a tee time much more easily than during the scoring season. Scoring season ends in November so we can have a lot of fun and practice some shots and techniques when the scores don't matter. Freedom!! :)

Golf is so much easier from the fairway 😂 I always say I would break 80 every single time if I could just control my driver a little better. I’ve been playing for just 1 year but I play a lot. Really trying to become a great golfer. My rounds typically start to fall apart with a couple bad tee shots resulting in spending time trying to get out of the trees or penalty strokes.

Put the driver away - easy! You said it yourself: short and on the fairway will give you a much better chance of a good score than hacking out of the rough.

Hey just noticing your stance and more importantly finish position throughout this video as opposed to a few video's back you def appear more planted and not moving around particularly your feet (bad example hole 6 in this vid = bad shot). Planted feet is hugely important and appears to be helping your cause hugely when planted. Good work.

Have you thought of when you hit your driver hard just teeing it down a quarter to half an inch.. with the same.swing.. if you don't change your swing... Then theoretically hit the ball more in the mide of the face

Hi I would like to go back to old handicap system at least then I know if I beat my handicap depending on division in I will come down . Example my current h/c is 19.4 which is 19 old system this new is 20 then in comp its 19 . I am better than this but 8 cards or rounds better to lower it , well if I was that good I should be on tour.

Your swing is so flat it’s probably hurting your distance but it’s what you’re comfortable with I get it
@RydenEden3 жыл бұрын
Also your miss is a heavy draw.. I see it in almost every video... I'd just start always teeing up on the left part of tee box and aim the landing spot 3 to 4 yards off the right side of the fairway... I promise you it will work.. worst comes to worst it goes straight and your in the first cut... Which on she courses is better than the actual fairway
@jamiee83873 жыл бұрын
The fact you can hit hybrid and 4 wood off the deck makes you 5 shots better than me. I wish I could do and I’d be single figures. I can hit 4 iron like 210-220 though.
@dustinwatts15593 жыл бұрын
If you could hit driver over 230 you could be a 4-5

@joemarks37192 жыл бұрын
@@GolfSidekick Not true. I've played several rounds with people who hit it 220-230 on same length courses as this one, but have awesome short games, seen as low as 1 handicap from short drivers. I've shot 68 (4 under) when hitting driver poorly, only going 230, but straight. Irons/wedges were dialed in. If you can't hit solid irons/wedges consistently, and get it up/down when you miss greens, doesn't matter how far you hit it. You're making bogeys.

Handicap is funny bro.. you can literally sit 82-85 every round.. but if your playing somewhat tough courses and also always from the tips... You could a 4 handicap even though your actual score is 11-13 over everytime

I think the course rating takes care of the issue you raise.
@RydenEden3 жыл бұрын
@@susanfine5684 it's not an issue it's a fact... When okay a tough course and the rating is tough and play from the tips. You can shoot 85 as a 6 and still shoot a net 76
